My husband and I got married in Santorini, Greece this year without having been there before even once! We just saw a few pictures on the net and just fell in love with the place and the view and we thought ... why not??? So, we went ahead with our crazy idea and found a wedding planner to help us since we didn't know anything about the venues and so on.
Our wedding was a dream! The location, flowers, reception, photos, my hair and make-up were just perfect! We practically leaned on Stella (our planner) and left her do everything on our account with us just mentioning our ideas and dreams for the day and everything went better than expected!
We would recommend a destination wedding, especially in Santorini, to everybody! Love Love Love Santorini!
So for all of you who are having second thoughts on whether they should have a destination wedding or not I'm here to say hire a planner; it will make your life easier!
