hi all! I was wondering if anyone could ID these berries, I think they would make a beautiful centerpiece, but I have no idea where I could find them

if the image doesn't work - it is the first photo on this post

and even if I find them, would they be appropriate for an April wedding?

Try asking a florist in the vendor forum! They would prob know! Good thinking FFC!
I think most of our vendors spend more time on the main board than the vendor forum - so you'd be more likely to get a response here. I know we have a few florists around so you're bound to get a response soon :) Hmmmm have you googled it?
ETA: They look like they could be Winterberries....??

Vendors can post here too; no need to have multiple threads on the same topic ;)
I am not sure if these are them, but I think Hypericum berries are commonly used in floral arrangements; they come in lots of colors and can be used in spring and fall :)

It's Ilex, also known as winterberry. It's most commonly red but also can be orange or gold. Unfortunately, it's a winter berry, just coming in to season now, october.

Yay I was right!!!
Spulsn, how about using artificial ones if you can't find them during your wedding time?

poop (not that you're right, but that it's the wrong season)!
I think I want to stick to using real plants/flowers, but that's not a bad idea, I'll check around!
thanks for all the help!!

well, berries are generally a late summer to fall and early winnter type occurrence in mother nature. as mentioned above, if you want a berry, you could use hypericum which is available year round (comes from south america) but doesn't have the same branch-y structure, but sill a berry (comes in red, burgundy, white, peach, green). if you want an orange colored berry, you might be able to get bittersweet now (it's in season in fall), and it's a flower that will be 'dry', and the branches are very curly and wild...very pretty. it's not at all the same thing, but if you like the look shown in those photo, you could do something similar with spring blooming branches such as forsythia, and you'd have the branches, but with yellow blooms rather than berries.
How 'bout unripe cranberries?? I think they'd be gorgeous in a centerpiece. Granted, they wouldn't be on a stem, but they'd be pretty in a bowl with a floating candle or a floating flower in it.... just a thought :)

So, it's not berries, but i think it's got the same sort of 'feel' as your photo with the ilex branches....but with blooms instead of berries....plus it's very 'in season' in spring. :) of course, if you're set on berries, just disregard this idea! ;)

i'll keep all y'alls ideas in mind for sure!

Have you considered using Jell-O with berries suspended in it? Just a thought :) You can get your colors real nice if you use different Jell-O for different tables.

It is hard to tell what the picture you posted is because it is so small, but it looks similar to Salal or Lemon Leaf

Lemon leaf is normally branchy like that, but the leaves might be larger than what you want. It is a stock green and any florist should be able to get it for you.
Another thought if you like that look is silver dollar eucalyptus
