Um... has anyone tried Nair and come out with little red blood spots on your legs? It looks like I nicked myself all up and down my leg!!! I mean I know I ahve sensitive skin, but this was supposed to be the sensitive kind. Now I am laying in my bed with my legs burning and IT WON'T STOP! SO glad it is winter and I can wear pants!!!
Any tips on good/quick hair removal for sensitive skin? I hate to shave in the winter!

Ugh. I tried Nair in college and had a similar reaction, along with a lot of hair that wasn't removed! :irked: It was SO not worth it!
I have sensitive skin as well...and I think I'm just gonna stick with shaving...

i love nair actually....
i never used it on my legs , only my bikini line.
I actually use the formula thats sensitive just for bikini line now (tho i used to use the regular formula on my bikini line and it worked perfectly but my skin got more sensitive once i first started shaving).
I apply it and wait 8 mins and then wipe it off, but it doesn't get it all...and i don't expect it to. It loosens and softens the hairs so that when i go back over with my razor, its a smooth, clean shave. I have not once gotten any irritation from this method. If i just shave i always get irritation and ingrowns.
So i guess it just depends on your type of skin and your method of using it.

it works fine for me most of the time, although I've had a reaction to it once (which is why I always check a small section of skin prior to globbing it on)...
no matter how good it works
it smells.....awful!!

I have never had any issues like that with Nair. I hear good things about Veet too, but haven't tried it.
