Dear Potential Sponsor,
We would like to share a little about us. We are Amanda Gonzalez and Ben Johnson and we are seeking vendors local and national to participate in a sponsored wedding. This is a rare opportunity for you to really help someone have the wedding of his or her dreams. We are located in the Southern Maryland area. We are a soon to-be Navy family who is stationed at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
Ample advertising will be provided at the reception. A few ways are as follows: Wedding Programs, place card by your contribution stating “courtesy of (your name here), wedding website, and more. Sponsors will be classified on tiers according to the amount (retail) they contributed, what they contributed and information (including website, email, address, and phone, etc.) on our website. Media coverage, local and national, newspaper and television is a strong possibility at this point and would only help your business more. The sponsor that contributes the most will be the official “host” of our celebration and have the name of their company, in addition to all the other places, on the Welcome Marquis below our names.
We envision a formal affair that rekindles the romance of a Royal Medieval Wedding.
His self-less service to the United States Navy and our great country, which I am very proud of, renders only a meager salary and it’s not enough to pay college (I’m a full-time student), medical bills, and live off of. I work and go to school full-time but my salary is close to minimum pay. These factors have led us to make this decision to invite vendors to showcase their best at our wedding.
I never thought I would be lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend, we are truly soul mates and would love to have all the bells and whistles when we vow our devotion to one another for all eternity. Especially since true love is something that only happens once in 300 lifetimes. The easiest thing in the world to do for me is to love him. This is not an event I take lightly. I have poured my heart and soul into this production and all the details it entails. Most of the decorating I am doing myself, mainly because it is what I do.
We would be overjoyed for any assistance you can offer. We would not only like you to contribute, but be apart of our day as well.
Please contact me if you are interested in helping two young lovers have their dream Medieval Royal Wedding and Winter Fantasy Reception. I would like to look back on my day and have no regrets that one perfect day every girl dreams about.
Not only would be making two peoples wishes come true but there are many benefits to my offer in why sponsoring a wedding is a great idea.
1. The advertising is as expensive or inexpensive as you make it. You decide on the contribution and I will make known ahead of time what is still needed for the wedding so that the contributions don’t over lap each other.
2. The cost of the products or services can be translated into marketing costs and thus are tax deductible.
3. I am a wedding planner. I will need all these services again, with my clients. Therefore, the repeat business and referrals will mean increased revenues for you.
4. You will be reaching your targeted market inadvertently. All the people at my wedding at sometime will either need your service or know someone who will and you will also get the priceless word of mouth.
5. There are NO cash donations accepted. We don’t want you to give us money to have a wedding; we want to showcase your talents at our wedding.
6. You don’t have to worry about everyone wanting a sponsored wedding. One maybe two couples a year will opt for sponsors, the others will just rave about your product.
It is a win-win situation and you will be helping two very grateful people who will be very appreciative of your forethought and contributions. I have never enjoyed the finer things in life and for one day I would like to feel like a princess. Remember I am a bridal consultant so you would be at the top of my list when I recommend vendors to my clients, not only because you contributed to my wedding, but also because I know you present quality work, exquisite taste, and I know undeniably that my clients are in safe hands with you. I expect my vendors to extend the same customer courtesy and personal attention I give to my clients. Ben and I will be generating a list soon of products and services are still needed to complete our special day.
