Well this isn't exactly wedding pics but it's where we will live until we buy our own farm. This is an old farmhouse that sits on Eric's dad 210 acre farm...this house and the 22 acres around it are where we will call home until our dream farm (some of you know about our 130 acre farm that we are trying to get) comes up for auction...anywho here it is...Karen wanted to see pics of the "nutmeg brown" color Eric picked for the bedrooms!

PLEASE NOTE THE CABLES RUNNING BEHIND THE TV AND THE BARE WALL (I HAVE PICS AND HOME INTERIOR TO HANG) ARE THE RESULT OF ME JUST MOVING IN...LOL

I still have to cut that horrid bush back on the left side of the house, the trampoline and swing set are gone now and there is much MULCHING to be going on!!!!!!!!!!

Your curtain in the living room looks just like the table cloth cover that I'm using for our head table! :bbeek:

Oh Ellen, you're cute little farm house reminds me of our old cute little farm house. Hope you don't have the mice we did...lol. Love it all and I love your living room carpet and your horse pillows and blanket on your bed!! ;) Love it all Hun!!

Ellen your home is lovely. I love old houses and it reminds me of one I used to live in. I just think old houses have much character and love in them. I know yours will be love filled. Their is just something so special to me about old places.

The little buggers (mice) were there but after a good cleaning and lots of steel wool and D-Con they ARE NO MORE! Plus Eric is getting us a kitten for outside! I have a bonus room upstairs (accessible thru the kitchen that is completely done in redwood (floors, walls, ceiling) it is beautiful...I have been working on getting the wood clean and shiny again, when done I will take pics of it too!

I am 100% country/western in my decor! Thanks I love it all too!

That house has been in Eric's family since the 1930's! His mother's great aunt raised her family in it then it sat empty for years and then his sister moved into it...and now us! After moving so much in the last year and living in town in apartments (which I HATED) I finally can breathe and feel like I'm home! Thanks for your kind words, I feel the same exact way!

Thanks Lacey! I am so excited...I have all my plants repotted and on the carport, a fern in the old milkcan on the front porch along with a huge pot of something (my mom bought them) :bbmrgreen: as you come up the front stoop! I plan on mowing the yard this afternoon and I am going to get mulch for the flower beds and around the trees tomorrow! BUSY BUSY BUSY But I LOVE it!

Oh, Ellen, you have a little farmhouse now! How sweet is that? It just seems so loving and homey!! Why would someone want to leave?!?! Congratulations!! I bet you guys are really happy there!!!! :D

Lol, thanks yeah it's perfect for us right now...eventually I would like to have something bigger two bedrooms and one tiny bath isn't going to hold me and him and our babies (I hope)...we need more acreage because of our cattle and horses and a good barn with a riding arena in it so we can train our horses but for right now IT'S HOME...Eric will move in officially they day we get back from our trip after the wedding, right now he is right next door at his folks house (but he moves stuff EVERYDAY)!
