So I never really had the time to start a pre-wedding journal, so here goes.
After the wedding, we moved back down to Pennsylvania. Luckily, before we got married, we reconciled with the MIL. So the past month has been mostly packing, unpacking, traveling between NY and PA, and just all around exhaustion.
We finally got settled in, repainted a couple of rooms in our apartment, and just started relaxing, and then we got news that is going to change our lives forever.
I was a couple of days late with my period, when I took a pregnancy test. Now, any other time I've done that, it's come back negative, and I'd get my period within a few days. I figured I was just stressed out from the wedding and the move. Well, when I took the test, I found out I'm pregnant! What an unexpected surprise let me tell you!
My DH and MIL told me to take another test, an EPT this time, and that one came back just as positive. We made an appointment with a local women's clinic, and they confirmed the pregnancy. I found out that on Saturday, I will be 7 weeks pregnant.
We are both extremely excited about the pregnancy. It came totally unexpected, but we're both looking forward to every moment of it!
Later today, we're going to be calling to schedule my first prenatal appointment.
Everything's happened so fast, but at this point, I wouldn't have it any other way.
