We're still debating if we're going to have a wedding "party" or just the two of us. I do know for sure that both our daughters will be dressed flower girl style. I'm kind of wanting them to wear the same dresses but i'm having trouble with color.

My dress is Black and white with embroidered flowers throughout.(see pic below) I'm not sure if I should go with an all white for the girls, or try to find something black/white similar to my gown. hrrrmmmm Any thoughts??

Hi! Welcome to the board! I loooove your dress!

I wanted my FG's in black and white as well... I found some adorable ones on Ebay! I ended up getting tee shirt material white dresses and adding black sashes - a total of like, $10 each!

If you go with the full dressup, try searching for 'pageant dresses' as well.

Thanks FFC :) I love it too! I seen a couple on ebay I liked, but couldn't find the same dress in the different sizes my girls needed. I might end up doing the dress and sash thing as well.

I saw your dress on your other thread, but I like it every time I see it! ;)

I think either black and white or just white would be appropriate. How old are your girls? Maybe you could ask them what their preference is! I bet they'd love to help mommy pick out a dress!

At the time of our possible date, they will be 3 and 2. My now 2yr old would probly love looking at dresses, thats an awesome idea! She is super girly. However, of course, mommy would make the final say. Yeah i'm not a bridezilla or anything am i? lol.

I love your dress!! Mine was white with black trim so I am partial. :)

The first thing that I thought of when I read your post was that white flower girl dresses with black sashes would be cute! Something similar to to the one that FFC posted. I would go kind of simple on the FG dresses so that they don't overpower the detail on yours. :)

o.m.G! i LOOOOVE your dress!
but, target has flowergirl dresses, in solid white, for $29.99 and they sell the black waist ribbon, for $9.99!
i did find a few...they may not be what you're looking for, but a place to srt!

this one, has more or a flower pettern down the front, rather than single flowers...

this is kind of like yours, it has the asymetrical drape...and the randomly embroidered flowers on it! you have to scroll down, b/c it shows the plain white first!

No idea if you find this appealing, but I would also suggest the white dress with a black sash, as that would probably be the easiest and most budget conscious look to find. But, have you thought about little black angel wings on the girls as an added touch? I have seen little flower girls on wedding TV shows that have angel wings on and that is so cute. And, with the age range, they could have more fun with the "dress-up" too. I can just picture a couple little girls trying to flap themselves around to make their wings move!!

Just an idea--we were gonna have our girls wear dresses and butterfly wings for the day. http://www.halloweencostumes.com/angel-costumes.html Has a pair of black angel wings if you are interested in that idea.

Cute!! I am a teacher, so my initial thought is for my class to be my "flower kids"....don't care what they wear as long as it's dressy.... :-) I think it would be kinda cute if they all didn't match.... :-) They are 7 so they can still get away with it! ;-)

I love your dress - it's so unique!

We got our flower girl dress on ebay. I was reluctant, because you can't tell what type of quality it will be but it was BEAUTIFUL! And it was only $30!! I can't tell you the seller right now because I can't access ebay from work.. but if you look, there are a lot of dresses on there!

Don't forget, Target, Kohl's, etc! They have communion dresses in white during certain parts of the year you could alter.. I bet it could end up cheaper and just as cute. :)

Walmart and JC Penney's also have some cute dresses, especially around the holidays... Easter is also a great time to look!

a place to check out, is if you have any quincenera(sp?) stores around you...i went into one the other day, and they had everything from baptism outfits, to state level pageant dresses, wedding gowns, and everything in between! and i saw several dresses for little girls, that were pretty much just like yours! with the exception, most of them had short sleeves, versus spagetti straps..i just wasn't shure if you had those shops where you live...but there's a ton here in houston, and the neat thing is, they're most often deliverable with a few weeks...the ones i ordered(well, i'm waiting on a color sheet), if i order by nov 1, they'll be here by thanksgiving...

so I was looking at flower girl dresses, and I saw this dress, and it reminded me of this thread- http://www.bestbridalprices.com/images/alfredangelo/spr09/fg/large/6610.jpgIt just seemed to have a lot of the same themes as your dress. It's an Alfred Angelo, here's the link- http://www.bestbridalprices.com/alfred-angelo-flowergirl-dresses-style-6610-p-31571.html?cPath=4_525. I don't know if it's one you'd like or not, but it just reminded me of your dress!
