Hi! I'm new here, so I figured I'd introduce myself!
I'm Amanda and I'm marrying Brad, hopefully on June 2, 2007, if we can get it together enough to book stuff!.
We've been together for around 8-9 years. We've lived together for 6 years and we have two dogs. Sebastian is a 6 year old Yorkie/Pomeranian mix and Bebe is a 2 year old Terrier/Chuhuahua mix.
This is the first wedding for both of us, but our second engagement to each other. We called off our first wedding three months before it was supposed to happen and broke up for about years. It was the best thing for us at the time and we are both grateful that we didn't go through with it back then. We've been back together for a couple of years now and have been engaged 7 months. He surprised me with a chartered plane ride over the city and an engagement ring on Jan. 1st.
We like to remodel our house and have several major projects in mind. Currently, we are completely redoing our hall bathroom completely DIY. Next, we're doing the master bathroom and then the big one, which is a complete floor to ceiling remodel of the kitchen, dining room, and adding a deck to the back of the house. The last one will be tackled AFTER the wedding!
We have lots of ideas, but nothing set in stone for the wedding, other than we want an outdoor ceremony with a big party afterwards. We're both rather odd people, according to our families, so this will be unique wedding. Although, I think it's probably going to be pretty normal, I guess it's custom in our area to have very simple, very low key weddings and we're not having that.
I'm looking forward to hanging out here and getting to know everyone!
