so, we're expecting about 43 people, not including ourselves, so make it 48 wtih all 3 kids and us....

i'm getting the 8 seater round tables. and i'm trying to figure out how to seat them and in what distance? i am hoping to put all the tables in a circle, and make the dance floor the middle of the circle...so of course, us and the kids would be near a center point...then i though it go like this:(picture a circle lol)

#1-us & our kids(5 with us)

#2(to our left)-MIL/SFIL, Nephew(lives with IL's), fh's grandparents, and an aun'ts husband(he doesn't want his aunt there, so idk how that'll work)

#3(to our 2nd right)-MOH/BM, MOH/BF(her 2 kids)

#4(2nd to our right, after fh's mom and stepdad)-FFIL/GF, my dad and gma, my 2 siblings(fathers 2 children)

#5-fh's unlces, so it'd be 2 unlces, 2 wives, 4 or 5 kids

#6-(our immediate right)-my mom/SFIL, my bro/sis, my SFIL's mom)

#7-fh's other uncle, and cousin, and their wives, plus another 2-4 kids

it'll either work like that, OR, i may just have 6 adults to the tables, and 1 of those huge long rectangular tables, for the kids, and just let them all sit together...of course, i'll need 2 of them lol...

i'm looking at 24 adults(without us) and 24 kids(without ours) so it's 26 adults, and 27 kids(not including 3 cousins, cos they'll be too small to need a spot, or too small to sit with the big kids)

so does all this make sense? anyone have any suggestions? i tried to seat OOT people with people their own age, or that they'd be comfortable with. that included, putting my mom and my dad apart, as well as fmil and fh's father apart...so i imagine if i seat the kids together, then i'll be putting my mom and her fiance, with fh's mom and stepdad, and both fathers together...lol simply because, my mammaw and dad will sit together, b/c aside from us and my mom, they won't know anyone else lol...and i just see it working better like that!

the way you have it sounds fine. If you have the kids sitting at a different table, then parents might be stressed out about watching their children. I think you've got it perfect! and Props to you for getting it figured out so early!
