I've been looking for an inexpensive alternative to bridesmaids bouquets - since I need 6 of them. I just found these super cheap at http://www.save-on-crafts.com, only $4.99! But I'd like to add to them - maybe some ivory stephanotis with rhinestone centers or something? What do you guys think?

I wanted something similar to this...all ivory...

I think the stephanotis is a great idea - also, if you like pearls, you can put pearls in the centers and that'll bring out the ivory even more...
I like the feathers - and you can even go with carns for filler as well because those flowers look like they'd go GREAT with carnations... just a thought. Maybe a little greenery? Depends on what you like :)

Great ideas!!!!!!!!! Thank you!
On second thought, I may order these rose bundles from eBay and put some bouquets together. I can get 12 bunches of 7 roses, so that will be 14 roses per bouquet which should be perfect...for about $30! Then I could buy the fake stem holders to give them the look I wanted, add some stephanotis and VOILA!

That sounds like it could even be less costly than buying the actual bouquets!

I think the best way to spice up a bouquet is add color to it. I ask that a tiny bit of a light shape of pink and yellow be added to my bouquet.

On my practice bouquets I added beads and baby breath but I didnt take any pics

I agree - color, pearls or rhinestones are great way to jazz them up a bit.

I would add some babys breath and pearl sprays and pretty greenery. White roses are very elegant!

before you get your heartbroken like i did, they only sell stephonitis in white...yep...apparently that's one of the FEW silk flowers, sold only in the color the fresh flowers are available in...BUT if somewhere you actually FIND ivory steph, lemme know, cos i'd prefer the ivory to the white in my own bouquet...also, i got my steph at either michaels or hobby lobby, and there, they had 3 diff kinds...solid white, rhinestone centers, or pearl centers...i used pearl for mine...

Oh no! I did see it at Michael's in white, with the rhinestone centers. If I find any ivory I'll be sure to let you know!
