I had brain surgery in October. In November, had to have second surgery to fix my skull. Then this week I had my gallbladder removed because it was "dead" and totally infected. I just hate that I'm always majorly sick and living like this. I do NOT want to be one of those people "why meeeee," wah wah wah. But seriously - this is crazy. A freaking brain tumor is enough for a healthy 20-something year old to deal with in her first year of marriage.

Sorry - just venting. I'll be fine next week, but angry right now.

Aww,, sweetie, you're allowed to vent! :flower4u:

I'm so sorry you've been through so much. It's not fair, of course. I wish you only the best moving forward. And hopefully this will be the last trial for a while so you can move forward and concentrate on what should be a happy time in your life.

Wow, that's ALOT to go through in a year...

I'm in school for nursing, so I'm kind of starting into the internship part of it, plus my own dad had cancer and heart disease and all kinds of junk, so I've been around just a lot of that stuff. I have to say I always feel for people who have what you did (brain related things) because I think there's more of an element of it being scary than if it's say, your appendix or knee. That has to be a lot of stress and I do not blame you even one little bit for being tired of bad things happening. And to have it happen during that first year really stinks, too.

I hope you are holding together okay. I always find it amazing that the people who say "I don't want to complain" or "I don't want to seem sorry for myself" are usually the ones that don't seem that way at all! lol Trust me, I've seen some real complainers in my time (over things very trivial) and they never once say "well I don't want to complain about my life" they just tend to go ahead and do it, even when it's really rude lol

Oh honey, a brain tumor isn't a "waaaah, poooor meeeee!" kind of business. That's serious! Gall bladder problems are no walk in the park, either: my current boss was out for the count for a couple of months due to his! I'm so sorry you (and by extension, your husband) have to go through this! :flower:

I can't even imagine going through this, so I don't really have any advice. I just want to say that I care! Hope you start feeling like a healthy 20-something again soon!

Yeah, I don't need to tell you that a brain tumor is scary business - you know this!

I'm hoping that this means you've exhausted the misfortune quota for awhile - you'll be able to look back and say "Wow, that WAS crazy" because I'm hoping it won't continue to be so!:crossfingers:
