I love love love the professional pictures from my wedding last month. I would like some advice on how I might get them published. It was a same sex wedding, so I think there might be some interest. Aside from that, I just think they're beautiful and deserve to be seen. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thanks.

If you haven't done so already, you will need to get the photographer's permission (written) to publish the images before you do anything, as professional photographs are copyright protected.

Sometimes wedding magazines have things where you can submit pictures and stories; maybe you can look for something like that.

We'd love to see your pics :)

Thank you for the response. I have spoken to our photographer about it already. He of course, would be very excited about the possiblity. If you would like to see the pictures you can check out his website at www.ernycastro.com (http://www.ernycastro.com) in the client galleries (arianna and sabrina).

Has anyone submitted their photos before? And if so, where? Thanks.

Your pictures are beautiful! Congrats!

I've heard of photographers submitting the pictures to magazines before. Usually because it's their work and they are a little more "in the know" about what kind of magazines accept certain kinds of submissions, etc. My guess would be to check out a few wedding magazines that have a featured section. I know there is a wedding magazine close to my hometown that picks and chooses weddings to feature for the statewide bridal magazine, with a little info section on where to send the pictures and what not. And then for the people chosen, they do an interview and get the details. Maybe you could see if there is something close to you that does something similar?
