Yeah I'm probably retaining water. I haven't been drinking as much as i usually do and I've been feeling wicked bloated the past couple days. So I'm trying to drink a lot today. I'll weigh myself again on Sunday and see where i stand. Hopefully I go down a pound or so.

I'm doing good today. Trying to stick with mostly fruits and veggies during the day then have a normal dinner. So far I've had some grapes and strawberries.

2 lbs in 2 days!? Unless you've eaten and extra 7000 calories in the past two days, it is not possible! (It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound of fat, and that's a lot of muscle to build in two days.)

So, you are either retaining water, the scale is shifty, you are starting AF, or you weighed yourself wrong Sunday or Today.

Don't get yourself down! The scale is only one number! Have you tried measuring?

Well, I had about 5 bottles of water today. The large bottles too. I think I was def retaining water. I'm still feeling bloated and gross, hopefully that'll pass.

Had about 1400 calories today

25 grapes
15 strawberries
banana
granola bar

1 red pepper
3 carrots
light n fit yogurt

luna bar (omg, chocolate raspberry is to die for! taste almost like a choc raspberry brownie!)
2 servings cheesy chicken pot pie

Workout was the elliptical. And 40 ab exercises. I forgot how great I felt after I do the elliptical. It felt so good!

We'll see how I do tomorrow. We're having a counter lunch at work, and it's a bbq. My boss bought chicken patties, so I'll have one of those, minus the bun, instead of hamburger or hot dog. Maybe some potato salad, just a serving. We'll see ...

Thanks Gwen. It's mostly gone away. I've been downing water like crazy. I hadn't been drinking as much as I normally do, so I think that was the problem.

Today I let myself go a bit. Had fruit in the morning, and some party mix (chips & pretzel mix, aka crack), then had the chicken patty with the bun and about 1 serving of potato salad. Plus a Coke. Skinny Cow ice cream for dessert.

Dinner was 2 servings of leftover chicken pot pie from last night, and I'm gonna polish off a slice of the choc chip cherry banana bread. Hopefully back on track tomorrow. Gonna stick with mostly fruits and veggies during the day, plus my yogurt, and have my pizza at night for dinner.

But I'm happy because I tried on some capri's from last summer. My size 7, 9, and 12 all still fit me. The 12s are even a tad loose, same with the 9s. The 7 is a bit tight, but it was like that last year. FH was like how can you fit into a 7, 9, and 12!? They are different brands and different types of material. Hoping to get down a little further and have the 7s be loose!

Semi good day today .. Had about 1600ish calories ..

25 grapes
20 strawberries
serving potato salad

3 carrots
red pepper

banana

1/2 homemade pizza

oats n chocolate granola bars

I guess it's about 1600. I was at 600 before the pizza, and I estimated about 800 for the pizza. Plain cheese w/ olives. And 200 for the granola bars.

Tomorrow will hopefully be a good day, both exercise and food wise. I plan on doing the elliptical in the morning, and then going for a nice long walk/run in the afternoon. Probably more walking than running, but we'll see. It's going to be super beautiful here tomorrow, and I'm taking full advantage of it!

Good day today!

1 hard boiled egg
banana
soy joy bar

then did elliptical for 25 min, followed by 40 reps of ab exercises

6 carrots, cooked, w/ apple cider vinegar
1 serving kellogg's all bran crackers

oats n chocolate crunchy granola bars

pork chop & apple bake (sparkpeople.com recipe)
1/4 cup alfredo noodles

then FH and i went for a walk/run .. i want to start getting into running .. it felt good to do as little running as i did .. just gotta work myself up to longer intervals .. even though i played soccer for almost 20 years of my life, i was never really a runner ..

then i ate a luna bar, chocolate raspberry .. yummmm

for a total of about 1475 calories

Weigh in tomorrow .. :crossfingers::crossfingers: i lost at least something ..

Lost about a pound. 146.8 this morning! At least I keep losing!

Don't know about the workout this morning. I wanna go for another walk/run, but I'm not sure if I'll have time.

Let's see .. I've been so busy here at home I haven't had time to update this journal at all .. All I do is work, workout, make dinner, spend time with FH, and go to bed .. wake up and repeat all over again ..

I've been doing good .. eating anywhere between 1400 and 1600 calories a day .. a lot of it is fruits and vegetables .. 2 days this week my boss bought bagels for work and i had one (dunkin donuts bagels), even though it has lots of calories in it .. but i still stay at my calorie limit .. i just had it toasted no butter or cream cheese or anything ...

I've also been working out regularly .. monday was the elliptical, tues and wed i went for a walk/run .. i probably walked half of it, and ran the other half .. and yesterday i took a day off from working out .. i'm working the early shift today so i'll be able to fit a workout in when i get home ..

I'm gonna be cheating a little today .. have to get donuts for work, and i'll get an iced latte and a bagel for breakfast .. i'm exhausted and i'll need some caffeine to get me by later .. oh well, the rest of the day will be good though

When I want a latte, I go for sugar free syrup and skim milk. Then it's not cheating! Often times it's something like 80-100 calories! I had a Mc Donald's Sugar Free French Vanilla Iced Coffee made with skim milk... it said 90 calories, but I think that was with creamer, not skim milk.

As for the bagel, they DO make multi-grain bagels at most locations. Get a "light" cream cheese, and you're good to go. DD bagels are huge and have a lot of calories so I usually just eat half.

Thanks Jenny! I'll have to check out those McD's lattes .. I get the mocha swirl ones from DDs, and get extra mocha, only cause I hate the taste of coffee and if you mix it just right, you can barely taste it. They are so good, but I only get them during the week if I have to stop for work. I'm hopefully getting a Keurig so I plan on making them myself, so I'll be able to make them more healthier.

I love the multi grain bagels! They are so yum, and I hate it with light veggie cream cheese too. I splurged a little - usually just get it toasted with nothing on it. I ate the whole thing though, but I wasn't hungry until lunch, and even then wasn't that hungry. I also had half a chocolate buttercrunch donut too though :bbredface:

So I definitely went over yesterday .. probably around 2000 cals .. lunch was green peppers and broccoli, with a yogurt .. then ate my luna bar and worked out on the elliptical .. dinner was homemade pizza with kalamatta olives .. mmm it was so good ..

I know we're going out to dinner one of the days this weekend .. we're either doing chinese takeout or to a restaurant .. i gave FH the choices and told him he can choose. I think we'll do Chinese, since he's been wanting it. So I'll be def going over one of these days. I'll get my normal crab rangoon, pork fried rice, and boneless spareribs .. If I get Chinese, I'll def go all out and get what I want.

But I plan on doing the elliptical today, soon, then going for a walk/run today. It's going to be in the mid 50s today, so perfect running weather.

Tomorrow I'll weigh in. Hoping to lose another pound like last week!

Just got back from our walk. My thighs are killing me now. But it was a good walk. Also did the elliptical today. Lots of exercise today which was good, cause we're having Chinese tonight. Mmmm, lots of food!

So I weighed in this morning .. 148 lbs. I'm not putting too much into it though, cause I have that huge meal last night, and AF is due this week, so I'm a tad bloated. I did good this week with both food and exercise, so I doubt I gained 2 lbs in a week.

Yeah. I didn't loose this week either. Well, just .4 pounds, but when I hopped on later it said I gain .2. Who knows lol.

I think you're doing good! It's not so much the numbers that matter, but how you feel and what you do! Plus, I agree, AF probably has a lot to do with it! Sometimes I gain as much as 5 pounds when she's around! :urgh:

I've felt so good that I decided to reward myself with Chinese last night, too!

FH and I split and order of beef and peppers with some fried rice and steamed dumplings. I had less than he did. I also stole just ONE piece of my brother's General Tso's chicken. Mm.

It's important to reward yourself for a job well done! Keep it up!

I'm sure you didn't gain either. Sometimes the scale is a big mean evil contraption on the floor that needs to be thrown through a plate glass window. ;)

Thanks Jenny! I feel really good. Like I was looking at myself in the mirror, and I'm thisclose to being bathing suit ready. I think I could pull it off now, but I want to be more toned. My MOH is coming down in a few weeks so we can go clothes/bathing suit shopping for the honeymoon. So hopefully I'll be even more toned when we go. OH! And I tried on my skinny jeans! They fit, and actually pretty good too! They are still a little snug, but i just need to tone a little. I couldn't believe that they fit that well!

I definitely rewarded myself these past 2 days. So much food, but it's worth it. I had this triple chocolate utopia sundae from Dairy Queen; omg, i never thought I would say something had too much chocolate, but I think it did. But it was amazzzinggg!!

And back on track tomorrow!

Well good news and bad news these past couple days in the diet/working out department ..

Good news, is that I've done good with food. Had about 1350 calories yesterday, and about 1600 when today is over with ..

But the bad news is I haven't worked out in 2 days. I have been exhausted when I get home, and all I want to do is lay down or sleep. I went to bed before 8 last night, and will most likely be in bed by 8 tonight. Ugh. I wish I could muster some energy to exercise. I feel so blah by not doing anything. I WILL work out tomorrow. I get out early tomorrow and will come home and do the elliptical. I have to!

Did the elliptical today ... Along with 100 ab exercises and 50 hip exercises .. if you call them that ..

Food was okay .. I was having a bad day, so FH decided to ride his motorcycle down to my work and take me to lunch .. We went to Boston Market .. We shared the meal for 3, and had the chicken, mac n cheese, apples, and corn .. I ate a little under half the chicken, half the mac n cheese, 1/4 of the apples, and 3/4 of the corn, along half a large root beer.

Breakfast was a bagel, and some grapes ..

So who knows where I'm at today .. Gonna have some rice and head to bed early .. still can't kick this tiredness i've been feeling ..

Thanks Gwen. I'm feeling a little better today, still tired but better. I went to bed early last night, but woke up at 11 when FH got home from school. Ugh, I hate the day he goes to school and comes home late. I never sleep well while I'm by myself.

Today was good, both food and exercise.

1 serving cupcake pebbles cereal
kiwi
coke

multi grain bagel
2 red peppers
10 baby carrots

luna bar

chicken breast, with bbq sauce
jelly roll

for a total of about 1550 .. not bad

and i did the elliptical for 25 min, followed by 100 reps of ab exercises ..

Oh! It's just like cocoa or fruity pebbles, but its got the taste of cupcakes! It's got tiny sprinkles on it and everything. Sooooo good! Prob not the best for me, but better than eating an actual cupcake I guess. For 1 serving, 3/4 of a cup, its 120 cals if i eat it dry. That's what i eat first thing when i get to work, then I eat fruit for my snacks.

Yeah, it doesn't completely fill me up .. I eat every 2-3 hours. I'll have that at 7, then a piece of fruit at 9 or so, then another piece of fruit at 11ish .. At least at 120 calories, I can afford to eat after that and not use up a lot of calories.

So today was a good day actually .. Around 1500-1600 calories. I wasn't really hungry today. I don't know if it was because I was really busy at work and didn't have time to think about food, or what.

... didnt work out either .. i busted my butt at work today and got a lot done in the warehouse. I did a lot of walking around heavy lifting. My back hurt after a little bit of it, so I decided to take it easy tonight. I plan on doing 2 workouts sat and sun though ..

So I feel so good today! I put on my skinny jeans, and they fit so well. I'm actually am wearing them out to do my errands and stuff too. Usually I put them on, and take them off cause I don't think I look good in them. I can't believe I actually comfortably fit in my skinny, size 7 jeans. Woohoo! Now, just have to weigh in tomorrow and hope to lose a pound or 2. I haven't done well working out this week, but the diet has been okay.

Today, I have had 3/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt, mixed with 1/4 cup homemade granola. Roughly 240 calories I guess. I estimated, cause i have no clue how much is in the granola. I was planning on working out before I went out to do my errands, but my back started really hurting while I was just sitting. It was hurting to move and take breaths in. I took some Tylenol and its feeling a bit better now, so I'm going to hopefully work out when I get home.

Wow, sorry about your back yesterday! Any reason it would do that? Glad it's feeling better, though!

I think just because I did a lot of bending over and lifting heavy stuff. I usually don't do that much work in the warehouse. I'm a sales person, but we were incredibly slow yesterday and the warehouse guy went home sick, so I stepped in and did a lot of their work. It's still sore this morning, but I hope it gets better.

Soooo .. I was doing well today, until we decided to go to the movies and see the new Alice in Wonderland (totally awesome btw!) So the night consisted of movie theater popcorn, Coke, Raisinettes, and Good & Plentys.

Oh well ... I don't feel bad though .. Just hoping to lose a pound tomorrow when I weigh myself ..

So weigh in was 147.0. Which, if I did actually weigh 148 last week, means I lost one pound. But who knows. I'm still happy cause my skinny jeans fit and that's all that matters! :)

That's what I had yesterday. We went for a total 3.75 mile walk yesterday too. We walked to get the ice cream, but it was a good, long walk.

I feel ya on the left overs. I've been picking at Peanut MM's, and even picked at quarter piece of pizza yesterday.

That's not bad. My doctor says starting the day with 350-500 cals. I usually get 300-400.

Yeah that's about what I get too. I just had some grapes, which brings me up to 315ish .. lunch is veggies & yogurt so that won't add much .. I think its gonna be a good day! :)

It was a good day until I got home and started making dinner. Those ham salad mini sandwiches were staring at me and I had to have ... 2. Ugh. I told FH to eat the rest of them tomorrow so they aren't sitting in the fridge anymore.

lunch was green pepper, carrots, and half a cucumber. Yogurt. And had the Luna bar on the drive home. Did the elliptical and 60 ab crunch things and 60 hip exercises.

Dinner was velveeta shells and cheese, w/ hamburg and cream of celery soup. And I'm gonna have a skinny cow ice cream.

For about 1700 calories today. Hopefully I can get at least 1 good day in this week, cause I know Thursday won't be since we're having a huge catered counter day lunch.

Today was actually a good day considering I ended up caving and having a slice of pizza .. it usually is a good day when FH is at school and I don't have to make dinner ..

I've been looking at bathing suuts since that I'll be shopping for one soon. I think I want a bikini top but long board shorts. I'm actually kinda happy with my stomach for the most part, just my thighs I have issues with. We'll see what I end up getting.

They have adorable short board shorts! If I can get away with short ones, so can you! They're very popular right now. Everywhere from Walmart to Target.

Yeah I was just looking at them on the Target website. They are super cute. I'll have to see what I find. I may even put on a 2 piece and think it looks good w/out the board shorts! I'm hoping anyways! My MOH is coming down the weekend of May 8th so we'll be doing our shopping then. Hopefully I can tone a little more before then.

And that's all I've had. I guess I haven't eaten a lot, but just the fat and calories that are in all that are baddd.

I did the elliptical though, for 25 minutes, and 30 situps and some other floor exercises.

Today might end up being a good day ..

Did the elliptical this morning .. 25 min, plus 20 min of floor and ab exercises .. Just got back from a 4.37 mile walk/run. There would have been more running involved if my stupid workout capri pants didn't keep falling down when I ran. :laugh2: I feel soo good now too! That was a great walk!

Food, I don't think is gonna be that good. FH and I are going to have a "romantic" night since we have both been really busy with school and work and wedding planning that we don't have much time for ourselves. We're making homemade pizza, and then using our new fondue pot and having chocolate fondue with different fruits I bought. At least they are yummy fruit, we'll just forget that they are dipped in chocolate.

Have done good so far for food today ..

3/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt w/ 1/4 cup granola

20 boiled carrots, with apple cider vinegar
2 green peppers
1 serving all bran crackers

luna bar

Weighing in tomorrow .. We'll see how that goes ..

So I weighed 146.8 this morning when I weighed myself .. So if it's correct, I gained .8 lbs since Wednesday .. I know I didn't do good, but I don't think I did THAT bad .. My skinny jeans still fit, so that's all that matters

I knew I probably didn't lose weight because I felt like it this morning. My stomach just looked and felt bigger, so hopefully that goes down. It might have been the large meal we ate Saturday night, so I could have just been bloated or something ..

Aww thanks Gwen! :) I think I was just a little dehydrated. I worked out twice on Saturday, and with that 4.3 mile walk/run, I really didn't drink much water afterward or even a lot on Saturday.

For today ..

1 cup corn chex
pear
choc chip banana bread (little old lady brought some in to work . grr sabotage)

10 baby carrots
red pepper
1/2 cucumber

kiwi

luna bar

bbq pulled pork -- about 6 oz -- i guess 500 calories or so

Just did TV workout today .. I did a Jillian Michaels On Demand workout. She's just as :bbtwisted: Jackie Warner. I only did it for 25 min or so, and I was sweating and hurtin all over. I'm scared to see what I'm gonna feel like tomorrow ..

Yeah, I usually drink a lot of water, but lately I haven't been. I just get busy at work and forget to drink plenty of water. Today, I know I drank plenty. I think I had like 5 or 6 large bottles of water. I've also become more flexible. I can now touch my head to my knee when I stretch with my legs outward. I can almost touch my face to the ground LOL

The scale has defintely been weird lately. Said I weighed 146.8 on Sunday, weighed myself on Tuesday and it said i weight 148.6 .. Umm okay .. Then weighed myself again this morning and it said 147 .. Stupid scale .. Oh well, my skinny jeans fit and are comfortable so that's all that matters. And I'm not weighing myself again until Sunday, so we'll see what happens

Yeah, I think I'm hitting sort of a plateau. I've doing the same routine for awhile, I think I need a change in my exercise. I'm gonna have FH get the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for me after he gets off work. I've read a bunch of reviews on Amazon, Sparkpeople, and some other sites, and I heard its a kick butt workout. I'm gonna use the video, along with my diet, and hope I can lose a few more pounds and tone up. I'll probably start that tomorrow, and give myself another rest day.

Have you had the Strawberry Shortcake skinny cow sandwiches? .. Mmmm sooo good! I just had the chocolate one. I was closing at work, and got hungry, so I figured that was better than the Dunkins bagels or muffins they had out front.

Oh.my.goodness.

I just finished Day 1 of the 30 Day Shred. I did Level 1, and it kicked my butt. I felt so good after the workout though. I think I sweat more doing that, then I do when I'm on the elliptical. And Gwen, I think Jillian Michaels is more evil than Jackie Warner.

So I'm definitely going to continue on with this. I was a little skeptical at first, because it's only like 25 minutes long, but it definitely works your whole body and you feel it. After I get some stuff done and rest for a bit, I'm gonna do the elliptical this afternoon as well. During the week I'll be doing the Shred, then on the weekends doing both if I have the time.

So far for today

3/4 cup vanilla yogurt w/ 1/4 cup granola

2 slices of low cal toast with sugar free strawberry spread

Total so far is 360 and I'm already on my 3rd bottle of water for the day.

Yup, I do believe she is more evil than Jackie! I was just about to get on the elliptical, but I can totally feel the morning workout in my glutes. Oh goodness are they sore. You don't get a break during her workouts. She goes from one right to another. But I felt so good while doing it. I could feel my whole body getting workout.

FH and I are going to go for a 2 mile walk instead once he gets home. It's gorgeous outside, and I want to take full advantage of this weather.

Up to 700 calories today ..

It was an awesome walk. It was like 75 today and gorgeous outside. Actually kinda warm .. We did about 2 miles and boy were my legs feeling it. My glutes are still so sore. I'm wondering how they'll be feeling tomorrow ..

.. then i went and blew my hard work on dinner out. 2 glass of Dr. Pepper, appetizer of pot stickers, chicken and angel hair pasta, and peanut butter and chocolate pie .. yummmmm ..

So no diet today, but did continue with the 30 Day Shred. Did Level 1 again, cause my body was soo sore today. But I'm gonna go to Level 2 tomorrow, and stagger the levels so my body doesn't get tired of just one level. I figure that should hopefully help a bit.

And I weighed myself this morning. 148.6. Umm okay. Scale, I hate you. I doubt I gained that much though, the scale is super evil lately.

Didn't really watch what I ate today. Probably had about 1700-1800 calories. I wasn't really in the mood to eat healthy. Ohhh welll ... Tomorrow will probably be another high day, because we're having a counter lunch at work .. so I'll be partaking in that.

Workout day was a mix of things. I didn't feel like working out to the DVD, so I just did 2 minutes of cardio, followed by 5 minutes of strength. All exercises that were from the DVD. There were situps, pushups, squats, and other exercises. I felt pretty good after it though.

But I went bathing suit shopping today, just to see how they fit. None of the tops fit right. My boobs are so big, I hate them. I just bought a bikini top off Zappos.com that has the molded cups. I bought it in two sizes, so whichever I don't like I'll send it back. They have free shipping both ways. And if I don't like either, I can send 'em both back. Here's a picture of it. I just hope it fits :crossfingers:

no workout either .. my stomach is crampy and i had this weird pain in my back. it hurt when I would turn around or sometimes just walk ..

and the bathing suit top didn't fit. i'm sending it back tomorrow, and i ordered two other ones. hopefully those fit. if not, i've seen some cute two piece sets at jc penny and target that i guess i wouldn't mind getting. i guess my body just doesn't want to see itself in a bikini type bathing suit this summer!

Just wanted to give a lil update. Been doing good this whole week!

Monday .. roughly 1300 calories, no workout

Tuesday .. 1500ish calories, 4.3 mile walk in 1 hour

Today .. 1300ish calories, 30 Day Shred Level 2

Not sure how this weekend will go though. MOH is coming down Friday night until Sunday .. So there will be a lot of alcohol and probably bad food around. Oh well, at least I did good during the week!

Alright ladies, I need some support. I NEED to get back into a routine of diet and exercise. I've gained 15 lbs since the wedding :bbredface: I've gained all the weight back since when I first started this little journey 2 years ago, and I hate how my body feels now.

The issue I've been having with working out, is that it's just too hot to work out when I get home. We've been having a summer that's a lot hotter than normal, and my 3rd floor apartment gets almost 10 degrees hotter than what it feels like outside. It's horrible, and if it's too hot, I can't work out. It's supposed to be nice this weekend, so I'm going to re-start the 30 Day Shred. I remember how awesome I felt after a workout from that, so I want to do that again. Plus, my elliptical on days that I can.

And I'll be starting my diet next week. I have to. I want to get to 130 by next June, and I know I can do it if I start now and lose slowly. We're planning a cruise (hopefully!) for our 1 year anniversary and I want to look good on that. That's my motivation.

I'm getting fruits and veggies when I go grocery shopping today, and I have a scale so I can weigh my food for the proper calories, instead of just estimating how much I'm eating.

Sorry that you gained it back. But hey! It happens to the best of us. I KNOW you can lose it again and look amazing. I'm sure you already look amazing, but it never hurts to tone up for bikini season. ;)

Ugh. I realized just how out of shape I am today. I tried doing the level 1 of 30 Day Shred this morning. Got halfway through, and felt nauseous. Had to stop. BUT I did vow to myself to try it again later, which I did. In the afternoon, I tried it again and got the whole way through. I do admit I had to cheat here and there, or talk a 10 second breather, but I pushed through it. My arm strength has completely diminished since 2 months ago.

But I will do it again tomorrow. I bet I'll feel today's workout though.

I think I'm going to start walking/jogging on my lunch break at work. I get an hour, so I figured an hour of walking and running will be good. And days that I don't do that, I'll do the Shred or the elliptical.

And one more day of not so good eating, then back on track. I have to do it.

Oh.my.goodness.

I am so sore today. I woke up with my thighs burning and it was hard to sit down or stand up. I stretched and stretched all morning, then did my Shred. It was a little easier to keep up with then yesterday, but I still had to take quick 10 second breaks or alter the moves. If I alter the moves, I still keep moving so that's what counts.

Now I'm relaxing and I have to ice my foot. The outer side of my right foot has been hurting, but I think it's just the fact I haven't worked out in so long. I'm going to bed a little early tonight so I can get up early and fit in a Shred before work. Then walk/run on my lunch break, and I think that'll be a good workout for the day.

Day 1 ... Success! (well, almost)

The day didn't start out as planned. I am so NOT a morning person; I get up at 6 for work, so anything before that is brutal. Even though I went to bed at 10 last night, I still couldn't do it. So, no Shred in the a.m. I thought I would be able to do it in the afternoon.

Did well very good in the calorie department

breakfast
1 serving special k chocolate
nectarine
peach
plum (all spaced out from 7-12:30)

lunch
1 serving special k crackers
1 oz. cheddar cheese
yogurt

dinner
veggie stir fry w/ spaghetti (with squash, zucchini, beans, broccoli, tomatoes .. it was yummy goodness)
chocolate milk w/ skim milk

snack
1 cup homemade chex mix

For between 1200-1300 calories. I only ate the chex mix (280 cals) cause i need more calories for the day.

I walked on my lunch break. A little over 2 miles in an hour. I would've started jogging, but it was too hot. I think it got to 90 or so today, but the humidity was horrible. Which is what killed me with doing the Shred when I got home. I was all ready to do it, got home at 5:15, walked upstairs .. and the apartment was way too hot. This is what happens. I say I'm going to work out when I get home, then I can't cause it's too hot. Oh well, at least I got 1 workout in. And it felt good too. It's supposed to be cooler thurs and fri, and i won't be walking cause i have to do errands, so i'll hopefully get to do the Shred then. I actually missed it today!

I did my 2 mile walk on my lunch break today. And I even fit in the Shred. I did it at 7:30 tonight, since I felt guilty with the soda and not doing it yesterday. I did about 90% of it, and had to take more little 5 sec water breaks, but that was definitely from the heat. I know it's supposed to cool down at the end of the week, so that will be good.

So I've been doing okay. Been well within my calorie limit for the day. Coming in about 1400-1500 calories per day. I've been continuing the walking on my lunch breaks too. I increased my time, and did maybe 2.15 miles in an hour, instead of 2 miles. I realized also, that when they days were cooler, I was able to walk more of a distance then on the hotter days.

Besides the walking, I haven't been doing anything else really for a workout, which I need to change. I even tried to work out this morning, and really didn't have the energy. I still managed to get a mixture of workout activities in, for roughly 20 minutes.

The good news. I lost 4 pounds this week. I know that's definitely not going to happen every week, and it was mostly water weight, but I'm still happy with the 4 pounds. I know I have to get my butt in gear, cause when I tried on some jeans and capris last night, a few of them didn't fit. The same ones I could fit into comfortably 3 months ago. So, now I have to do this.
