We adopted a kitty!

Will and I went to the SPCA yesterday and fell in love. Come Tuesday, when we can take her home, I will be spamming this thread full of pictures! :D

She's a tabby, short hair, one year six months old. Her birthday is listed as one day before mine and her name was a festival from Will's teeny tiny home town. She is so sweet! Loves to perch on the window, a bit of a watch cat. Doesn't appear to like dogs :(

I'm so excited! I've always wanted a four legged creature of my own :D Now the fun part - kitty-proofing the apartment before she shows up! And figuring out a name.

Here's... Jada!!!! Her name means wise, and Jade for short since her eyes are so green!

She's a wonderful, incredibly well behaved cat.

Thanks! Kittens are irresistible, but it wasn't pure altruism - we needed a cat that could watch herself sometimes, and kittens are not those types of animals!

Oh I'm sorry to hear. Our had 2 cases of worms after we got her from the shelter too (different kinds) so we just took her to the vet and they gave her some meds. She's been great since so hopefully she starts feeling better soon.

But hey at least she loves you!
