I have gotten this off and on in the past before, but it has been pretty much every day for like a week or two now.
It is like every few minutes my right lower eyelid will twitch a few times; quite annoying.
I have been reading that it can be related to stress or irritation; I assume the allergy irritation is causing it now.
Anyone ever dealt with anything like this? Any tips to make it go away?

I get a twitch here and there but it doesn't last long. DH gets it all the time, especially when things are really busy at work. It's definitely a stress thing for him--and sometimes, he doesn't even stop to realize that he's stressed, or realize what is stressing him out. Then it starts twitching and he has to sort of weed through his life to see what is causing problems, and get them taken care of. Sorry, this wasn't much help :happy:

I get the same thing from time to time which is also stress related. I find sometimes taking some asprin and heat helps it, but not all the time. If you find something that works, let me know because I totally feel your frustration!!

I found on this website (http://www.eyecarebasics.com/eye-care-articles/eye-twitch-remedies.htm) some things to try ...
* hot baths
* cold compresses
* warm compresses
* eye drops
* flushing eyes with water
I have tried eye drops and that seems to help some.
Another page of that site said to see a Dr if it persists for more than 7 days ... I have had it for like 2 weeks now :fear: It is not like constant, but several times a day.
I don't think it is really anything wrong, just annoying; it may be stress, allergy irritation and being in front of the computer all day. So I think I will give it a little more time before I bother seeing a Dr.

Hmmm, I have had this happen to me also from time to time, where it goes on off and on for a few days. I never thought much off it. That makes sense for it to be an allergy irritation or stress though!

That's no fun. Are you still smelling the smoke smell as well? Maybe you're just suffering from really bad allergies right now?

Nah, the smoke thing is pretty much gone now. I was really stuffy most of the day yesterday, didn't sleep well because of it and still am today and the Sudafed I have here isn't working :p

When I get them and they are really bad/irritating I use a cold gel mask or a lavender pack i keep in the fridge. I have no idea what causes it (I'm guessing stress for me) but the cold eye packs usually help, especially before bed.

I am gonna have to try to cool pack thing.
I get it often and you're right, it IS annoying! And it's always the lower eyelid on one of my eyes. Sometimes it just comes for a day, other times it hangs out for a week or so. A lot of times it's because I'm tired... other than that, not sure!
