Weekly Theme Poll

This topic was discussed on the wedding theme area. This is what I am going to do. I have set up this poll for everyone who wants to vote. Each week in the wedding theme area there will be a weekly theme. Hopefully as many people as possible will look up information, articles, and post pictures with information and ideas for this theme. Each week there will be a new thread and a new theme. When someone is just starting their planning or for anyone who just wants to browse some ideas this will be helpful.

I am having 10 theme ideas on this poll. The top one will be for week number 1, the second one for week number 2, all the way up to the 4th week. After that I will do a new poll from other theme suggestions.

This poll will be open until tomorrow, Thursday July 13. (I edited it, the poll is open now and will close tomorrow). Hopefully everyone will be able to vote who is interested.

Okay...well my theme (roses) wasn't on there...kinda disappointing..so I voted for fall/harvest, because it is my second favorite theme!!!

It will not let me set a certain time. It just will close tomorrow. I don't know what type, it wouldn't let me say a certain time. I am hoping it is 24 hours from the time I set up the poll. I hope everyone can get their votes in today.

Oh yes, I just looked at it. The poll will close tomorrow at 1:17 PM. I guess that is my time zone (central). Everyone just try to get it in by the end of today or early tomorrow morning to be safe!

The poll closes tomorrow and then we can start the weekly theme thread. I'll start with the number 1 voted theme. The theme week will run from Thursday to Thursday.

It looks like Fall/harvest is in the lead right now! Get those votes in girls! If your theme is not up here vote anyway on one that interests you. Be sure to either PM me with your theme or a theme you would like to see on the next poll which will be in 4 weeks. Every 4 weeks we will have another poll so that only the themes we are the most interested in will be up.

This is partly why I think we should just have a thread for each theme. Have each girl post inone thread what their theme is and then we can go from there. I just dont see how one week can be long enough. And what about the girls who are getting married sooner then others and their theme doesnt come up for a couple of months. Just suggesting here.

I understand your suggestion, but I just don't think enough people will post on all these different themes at once. If there is just one theme a week everyone can help out for that. If someone needs help with a specific theme or has questions they can still make another post asking for help.

Anyone can always go back and add stuff to an old weekly theme if they find something else later. If this does not work out well we can always stop it and give something else a try.

The winner for week number one is Fall/Harvest. It will be in the themed section. Post if you would like. This is the first trial run so we'll see how it works out.

Fall/Halloween, Beach, and Hollywood all tied. Any suggestions as to what I can do for a tie breaker?

make them weeks 2, 3, & 4... just keep them in the order you have them... really not a biggie to me

I think that you should def. make the Fall-Halloween the week 4, because if not it is gonna be pretty repetitive. Alot of the Fall-Harvest stuff will be reposted!!!

Yeah, I that would probably work best. So I guess we should go ahead and do beach for week number 2 if nobody minds. I think this will especially be good because we have a lot of summer 2007 brides coming in now and they are just in the beginning of their planning stages.
