Hi everyone!
My fiance, Chris, and I have been engaged since November 2008, but I am just dipping my feet into the whole wedding planning thing! We are getting married on October 2, 2010. So far, I have the church, reception hall, caterer (local church women's group is doing it for cost of food ), and photographer. I got 27 fishbowls for $10 from a friend, so I have that for the centerpieces. Besides those few things....I don't have ANYTHING! I would love hearing any advice on ANY project that you have DIY'd or any general wedding planning advice that you would like to give me!
Thank you in advance!!! :)

it won't let me quick reply......just sits there like it's working....FOREVER! So I hope this works. I plan on putting colored pebbles (red and white) on our centerpieces with a floating candle and a square mirror underneath. It's the best idea I have so far, unless I find one on here! :)

Do you have a wedding theme? Reading your post about the fish bowls and the floating candles...our original wedding theme was going to be the five elements: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and the fifth element that sustains life is Love. With the fish bowl and floating candle, you have water and fire.
Just an idea to throw at you--got lots of them. Congrats on the engagement--good planning so far!
