I was thinking nautical too!
But I'm very biased towards blue, its my wedding/favorite color!

What are the colors of the lighthouse? The daymark (painting on the outside) of every lighthouse is unique and used to identify them, so why not use the colors of your particular lighthouse as an inspiration?
