Expense suddenly went down!

We made a deposit a long time ago on accommodations for ourselves and the twelve people who will be at our ceremony. When we made it, the total amount was supposed to be $650 per night, or $1,300 for the night before the wedding and the night after the wedding.

A couple of days ago, I went to look up the accommodations so I could figure out how to sent the final payment. I found that the rate had gone down to $437 a night. I contacted the vendor, who agreed to give us the new lower rate.

So, we suddenly have an expense that is $400 less than anticipated. Whee!

Thanks! And the place turned out to be everything we had hoped for. There were three separate units. We slept in the one-bedroom unit, family members (brother and his wife, sister, and my two kids) slept in the four-bedroom unit, and friends slept in the two-bedroom unit. We used the two-bedroom unit as the central gathering place and cooked meals for everyone there, but were still able to have a place to retreat to.
