So now was about the time DH and I were going to stop using BC and seeing what happened. We ran out of condoms during our Europe trip, but I should have been well past ovulation at that point.

So anyway, now we are back, and I'm late. I've been regular up until now with a cycle lenght average of 27 days and I'm on CD 31. I've taken a test to make sure and it was negative. Plus I don't feel pregnant, however I also don't feel like it's that time to start my cycle over either. Ugh.

I just want to either start my cycle, so I know I am allowed to enjoy some of the drinks we bought back from Italy (of course I would only do that during the first few days) or get that positive result so I know not to expect my cycle.

aww *hug* i just actually posted my own AF drama in the TTC thread... i was on CD 34 n normally have a 31 day cycle... i felt the same way not pregnant but def. not like AF was coming... but she came last nite thankfully... I hope you get a def. answer either way tho! perhaps try to test again if nothing by the end of the week? or even in a day or 2?

I think the travel, timechanges, lack of sleep on vacation, etc... messed with my cycle.

Sooo...

Took another test. Still negative. Still no sign of my cycle and no symptoms of either pregnacy or AF. So I figure I will test again Sat morning when I am officially 1 week late if no AF and then if that's still negative see about getting a blood test.

Looks like the trip put my cycle about a week off this month. I'm totally breaking into that Limoncello tonight! :)

Plus I already bought a 50 pack of Ovulation Test Strips and a 50 pack of Pregnancy Test Strips from Amazon, so at least those won't go to waste. Not quite as easy as the stick, but they were less than 50 cents each and had free shipping!

So now the only major frustration with timing is when the due date would be and when my sick leave gets cut in half... But when it happens, it happens. I'm not going to plan my life around an obnoxious sick leave policy from my company.

Well, that's good news in a way. Isn't it bittersweet when you find out that there's "no more guessing" until next cycle? Ugh!
