feel free to add if you want...this is what i have so far...keep in mind, i have a preacher for a FMIL. i want it to be upbeat enough to dance, but no grinding music lol...fh isn't a big country fan, he prefers stuff like GNR, etc...so again, feel free to add...i've put astricks by songs that are going to be for a specific part of the wedding...

*Welcome 2 The Jungle-Bride/Groom Announcement(trust me it fits, and i'm finding the edited version)
*I Loved her 1st-Me/Dad
*1st dance-I chose a Rod Stewart song for this, but i can't remember the name! argh
*Song for Mama-FH/FMIL(boyz 2 men, fh loves that song)
Dinner Music-
Because You Love Me-Jo Dee Messina
Crash into me-DMB
SImple Man-Lynard Skynard(fh absolutely loves this song. BUT his greedy aunt used it at her sons funeral. so i'm playing tribute to fh, by using it during dinner)
How sweet it is to be loved by you-Marvin Gaye
Sitting on the dock of the bay-Otis Redding
Kind and Generous-Natalie Merchant
Let's get it on-MG
*To Make you feel my love-Garth Brooks-Cake Cutting & Toasts(it'll spill over into The Dance, if need be)

Reception Music-in any order, not the order below
get busy-sean paul
love shack
mambo no. 5
he gets that from me
my wish for you
the baby(i'm using this to dance with alex, but it won't be a "special dance")
another one bites the dust-see fh's music preference above
zoot suit riot
pretty woman
pon de replay
new york new york-sinatra
believe-cher
c'mon n ride the train-quad city dj's
forever-chris brown
dont wanna miss a thing-idk if i want the aerosmith or mark chestnutt version
old time rock n roll
crazy in love-beyonce
cotton eyed joe-dance version
lost in this moment(this is also a possbility of our 1st dance)
sweet child of mine
fly me to the moon-sinatra
she's everything-brad paisley
cupid shuffle
cha cha slide
electric slide
ymca
we are family
shook me all night long
at last-etta james
save a horse, ride a cowboy
unchained melody
the way you look tonight
making memories of us-last dance-keith urban

ok ladies, if you have a few moments, help me put them in order, so as not to group them too closely to same genre but not to far apart...and again, add if you want to...

Ok I'm not sure how much this is gonna help since my music tastes are COMPLETELY different than anyone else's here  lol...but maybe it will be good for ideas:

I Gotta Feeling---Black Eyed Peas
Boom Boom Pow--Blck Eyed Peas
Fire Burning---Sean Kingston
Knock you down---Keri Hilson
Dont Stop the Music---Rihanna
Like This---Kelly Rowland
When Love Takes Over--David Guetta ft. Kelly Rowland
Upgrade U--Beyonce
Baby Boy---Beyonce
Good Life---Kanye West
Blame It---Jamie Foxx
Rockin that Thang--The Dream
Closer----Neyo

Very hip-hop rooted music, but nothing vulgar or too suggestive. Hope it helps a lil.:star:

lol, i have to find edited versions of GNR-that song REEKS of c*kane (spelled like that on purpose) insinuations :bbeek:(not into that kind of stuff, but it's a great song lol)
i LOOOVE hip hop, fh hates it...cept a lil chris brown and eminem lol...can't be playin eminem even if we wanted ;) his mom would have a heart attack...

i just need to put them in order, so there's not several of the same songs running together...

OH, and i remembered the song i wanted for our 1st dance ;) "have i told you lately that i love you".....
