So I was at a Children's Crusade for my church tonight. The theme of the service was to be in God's army and stand up against the temptations of the devil. So at the end of the service, our children's pastor ask if one of the kids wants to pray. This six year old boy (whom I would have to say is one of my favorites---don't tell on me) gets up to pray, and this is the content of his prayer...
"Dear Jesus,
Thank you for letting us come and worship you and thank you for our family and loving us and food and giving us the bible. Please help us to stand up to the Devil and fight him. We want to get him real good! Amen!"
I laughed so hard! The whole congregation was rolling. It was cute to hear the truth from the mouth of babes!
AMEN!
