I really didn't think I'd be any good at "doing it yourself" for anything, but lo and behold, I've been working on my "send off" things. They're these small bottles of bubbles with rhinestones and ribbon :) They're turning out so cute :D I have to get to work, but I'll post a pic when I get home tonight.

Its pretty fun to make something like bubbles all your own. People really appreciate the hard work too!

you're much more patient thatn i am! i could do a good sized rhinestone on the top, but definitely NOT several small ones all the way around!

looks great! i like it!

Thanks! The rhinestones are sticky on the back, so they go on pretty easy, but they aren't wanting to stay very well :(

I now have 14 bottles finished!

My momma, FH and I went to Hobby Lobby today. My momma bought 200 plastic dessert plates for us (LOVE HER!), and FH and I found these cute wedding bells candy mold and a wedding ring/engagement ring mold. So we bought one of each and then some chocolate wafer things that you melt and put into the molds. I did a set of the bells and they are so cute! Does anyone have some advice on how I can get my ribbon and bows to stay "stuck" to the bottles of bubbles? I've tried Elmer's glue... no luck. I tried super glue and they stick until they're bumped or touched, then the stuff falls right off.

We had this issue too - my mom started using a hot glue gun which I didn't like as it made a glob of glue you could see.

So she came across this item in the scrapbooking section of a store...it looks like whiteout but its glue....we ended up using it a lot!
