Jonathan's father works for the government and has been told that he has to go on another assignment... thats 3 years... Both Jonathan and his sister live with their parents but cannot go on this assignment because they are no longer dependants.

The decision hasnt been made as to where/if they're going but things dont look good. Jonathan only has about 1/4 of the money he wanted to have saved by the time we get married. If he has to go out on his own it will be very hard or nearly impossible for him to save anything. I'm saving but its not much... I'm really worried about this and how its going to play out... Also if they go, there is no guarantee that they can come home for the wedding with the nature of his job... I'm really worried about this..

Do you have any words of wisdom?

Is it possible that he and sister could get a place together? As far as the in-laws being there for the wedding, you have to put your trust in God with the way things are going in our country these days. Maybe you guys could get married before they leave and plan a Anniversary wedding party for your date in 2007

That is what I suggest-for him and his sister to move in together. That way they could split everything.

His father has told us that he's trying to avoid moving overseas. They would move in like August 2007 so FSIL and FH sharing a place for 2 months wouldnt be right. His mom said that if its that close, she'll stay at home with Jonathan and Melissa, Dad will come home for the wedding, help us move, and then they'll both go overseas after the wedding. This makes everything work out. I freaked out because they said it had to be an overseas assignment, but he put in for a few here.
