Shouldn't we have a place to show our wedding date? I know I keep looking at peoples screennames and keep wondering when they're getting married or when they already did. Am I just missing that or is there not a place to display that? :bbconfused:

No, but that's a very good suggestion. I'll see what I can do to make that happen. Thanks, Kat!

From time to time we have a had an area for everyone to say their name and wedding date. If nothing else you could start a post and we could do that again since we have a lot of new members. A lot of people also have the wedding tickers. That helps me keep up.

Maybe its just me... but I'd rather see somebodies wed date than their join date.

That's why I put my ticker up Kacie... but an actual date would be great.

Karen, didn't you do a poll thread about this?

http://forums.onewed.com/showthread.php?t=2475

I know we have talked about this on many occasions. Between the tickers and the journals, I thought we had a pretty good idea. But not everyone has these things, so maybe we all can just put the date in our siggy?

Yes, but I think Kat would like it to show like join date does. I like the idea, and I PM'd L3vi about it. I don't know if it is possible, but we'll see what he says.:p

OK, I am confused :bbconfused: ;)

There is also an intro thread Shawna started that might work for the purpose of intros and sharing wedding dates - http://forums.onewed.com/showthread.php?t=2726

Sorry, it's confusing to explain too. :) She would like to see it to the right of your user name and Avatar. Like under the join date, or anywhere that L3vi could put it so that it shows all the time.

Exactly... it's nice to see it all the time that way you can check out the journals of people that have similar dates to your own to see how far along they are to get inspiration to work harder or to take a breather on your own wedding planning. ;)

OK, I see now ... but wouldn't the siggy be just as affective? I mean if you are looking at a post someone made or their profile you would see the same info :bbconfused: But whatever man :bblol:

I think it was done over at UW, that's what makes me think it is possible for us to it too. The problem with the sigs is that not everyone puts it in their sigs, but that might be the only way we can do it though. :)

Wow... end of the year for you Kacie... that sounds like fun and for some reason I can totally see fireworks.

Glad you like Brandi... it's nice to know when people have already had their weddings too... kind of like you've paved the way for us and your advice is from actually having gone through it. :D

Fireworks would be nice, but they are not allowed at the resort to be used by individuals. I think they have fireworks that night anyway if there is not a burn ban. This past December it was so dry that we had a burn ban and you could not have any fireworks. :(

awww... Kacie... I'm so sorry... well I hope that there won't be a burn ban so that you can have your fireworks (although I'm sure they'll be fireworks that day no matter what).

Can you do sparklers as favors or for your send off? I think that would be cute

I've seen those wedding sparklers. I think those are nice, but I have to make sure there will not be a burn ban again. They had a ban on sparklers too.

We bought a whole bunch of fireworks when we went on vaca last week. Were going to light them when we all spend the night on the mountain after the ceremony!

Kacie I'll be crossing my fingers for you that there won't be a burn ban!!http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a12/Bnd94/crossfingers.gif

Thanks. We usually have rainy winters, but the weather has been really weird this year. Our winter was unusually warm and dry (even unusually warm for Texas). Usually are winters are very rainy and cold to us.
