We replaced some of the siding that was all rotted and falling apart

It's not big and definitely not fancy but its a perfect starter home for us & we love it! Our mortgage payment (including insurance and taxes) is $100 less than what we were paying for rent living in a semi-crappy neighborhood! Plus the interior is about 10 times nicer than what we were renting! It already feels like home and we love not living in town anymore!

I like it a lot! It looks like a cute, homey house. I like the bathroom.. I wish ours looked that nice. :)

Ooohhh I love it! It's adorable! And the land is beautiful!!!! I can't wait till winter so my weeds will turn green again LOL.

Thanks for all the compliments! We haven't decided if we are going to have any kind of housewarming party. Most everyone who cares has been over to see it by now. We are thinking about having a bonfire soon with some friends.

We have only been here a little over a month and it feels like we have been here forever! I never did quite feel at home at my rental house even after 2 years. DH is thinking about putting an addition on the house but we haven't decided for sure yet. I'm sure once we get a couple of little ones running around here, I'll be wishing for more space!

Adorable house! I love the paint color you guys chose and the inside looks so inviting!!

We've been in our house since March and we are having a bonfire party this weekend for the first time! We were in the same boat, everyone has come over at some point in time, but just wanted a reason to have a party in our new house ;)

Oh how fun! We are having a housewarming party/BBQ/Bonfire on September 19th. :)

I need to post pics of our latest accomplishments. DH built a firepit and finished painting the garage and the doors on the house. He even painted our picnic table. It's amazing what a few coats of fresh paint can do to something to make it look better!

Very true. DH just painted the Lounge after we moved back to our old house. The previous occupants have totally wrecked all the hard work we did when we lived here before. Can't wait to upload the pics to show everyone.

Just the rest of the house to go.

Wow - what a beautiful job you did to the outside! I love that color.

We've been in our house 2 years and haven't done anything yet but I can't wait to start renovating. Now that the wedding is over, we'll have some extra money for that sort of thing - first thing on the agenda is the main bathroom.

Congrats on the home!

im so jealous of your land :( sometimes i dream of just leaving south florida for somewhere with grass and lots of land.. :(
pretty inside too. love the couches (but im partial, have the same)
dont forget to take the tag off though.. i see it was still on there when you took the pic
