She's my grandma!!!! I asked her if she would do my hair for the wedding and she said yes!! She owns and operates a salon in her basement and she does a wonderful job... she's done all my friends hair for prom, weddings, homecomming, and other special events. She's the greatest... best part is... its free!! I love my grandma!

That is great Jessica! So do you have ideas of what you want to do with your hair yet or are you just gonna let grandma surprise you?

Thats awesome! And so cute, go grandma!

Have you thought about giving her something special to thank her after the wedding? I think in addition to that, I would totally be excited about looking for something like that.

Good deal! That is exciting! I have no idea who is going to do mine yet or if it is going to cost a fortune or not! Free is always good!

I'm going to do an up-do... my hair is really long and really thick.. in a high ponytail its to the small of my back... I'm probably going to twist up and then have a mountain of curls at the top. It'll be too hot with my hair down... I'm going to use a tiara my veil has 4 parts.. it'll be amazing. Grandma has done it for me for my senior prom and it looked amazing and stayed in until the next morning eventhough I slept on it.

Grandma is part of the Mother's Brunch that happens 1 or 2 days before the wedding. I'll probably get her something special because she's helping me make my pew bows, VIP table cloths, unity candle, flower girl baskets, ring pillows, and other DIY projects I take on.. she's also hosting the engagement party. She used to cater weddings with my grandfather and so they decided that because they weren't catering the wedding, then they were going to have an engagement party for me. I am very fortunate!!

I was nervous about asking her to do my hair so I'm glad she asked. She's the only person who has ever done my hair. We live in the same city so it all works out!!
