Why is something as simple as getting a Broom so difficult? :bbeek:

Because i have a Cat who insists on moulting all year round. I thought i'd try and get a Rubber Broom to sweep his shedding fur away. There is so much of it, i have enough to knit a Kitten and stuff a cushion.
In theory Elektra should be bald by now. :ooh:

I've been all over town today after work. To the point where i almost lost the will to live. Only to come home empty handed.

Once upon a time Rubber Brooms were like $hit in a field, they were EVERYWHERE!!

Now when i go into a shop and ask they look at me as if i've just landed from space. :bbeek:

I tried every DIY Shop, Home Store, even the Pet Shop. Looks like i'm going to resort to good old eBay. Fingers crossed i hopefully get one before i move house next weekend. I've e-mailed one eBay Shop to see if i can get a special delivery on one.

O Sweepa, Sweepa, wherefore art thou Sweepa?

I have to laugh or else i will cry.

I've just clicked back and all you can read in the title are the words "Rubber Sweepa".

I know the US call Condoms Rubbers so now i'm laughing my head off this side of the Atlantic.

I wonder how many are going to click the link expecting something more exciting than a sweeping brush.

Ok, that's really funny. The condom thing didn't even cross my mind, but I giggled like a hyena when I read that it had crossed yours...LOL :)

As for the broom, that's so frustrating. I hate when I can't find something that I know exists and just seems to be nowhere. Hope ebay helps you out! :)

See I didn't think of that either because I've seen the infomercials for it several years ago. I haven't seen them around for awhile though. Good luck finding it.

I found one. :ura1:

The eBayer got back to me and can post one out on Monday to arrive on Tuesday. Who whould have thought someone like me who is normally calm over things, is totally buzzing over this LOL.

He's going to send it to where i work so i wont miss the Postman.

Was talking to one of the girls at work and she said she paid £16 ($26.78) for one years ago. Alas she doen't have it anymore.
I managed to get one for £9.50 ($15.90) with postage. So a result there. :D

Now i'll be able to leave the carpets fur-free.

Then shave the Cat.
