Password Protected Site

I'd like my wedding website to be password protected. I'm not using the templated free wedding websites, I'm using Microsoft Publisher to make a custom one, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a decent/decently price web host that would
a) Let me upload Microsoft Publisher
and
b) Let me password protect it

I believe that the password thing doesn't have to do with the host, but with code in the site. I don't know much about Microsoft Publisher websites or if it is even posible with this format.

As for uploading with Microsoft Publisher; you would just need to use an FTP. You can do a web search for 'microsoft publisher tutorial' and find lots of info on how to.

As for affordable hosting; I might could help you with that part ;) Otherwise I'd look up 'affordable website hosting'; and look for someone offering what you need at a price you like.

Thanks a ton! I used to do HTML but I'm rusty and I've been messing with Publisher instead... the FTP thing solves a ton of issues!
