Hi,

I originally joined this forum because I am a BM in an upcoming wedding and had an etiquette question, but I LOVE this site and will be getting engaged soon so I'll definitely stick around! :-)

Because I'm a teacher, I can only get married certain times of the year so I'll be reading up on some DIY and other tips so once I get engaged, it won't take so long to plan everything. :-) (Don't worry, I won't go as far as to book a facility or order my cake, hahaha!) ;-) It's just fun to start thinking about it!

Anyways, I'm 27 and from the Bay Area!

Newbie quesion- what do the green dots mean underneath the screenname? Some people have more than others or different shades?

Oh, Ok- thank you. Also, could someone please point me to a thread that translates all of these abbreviations. (I know SIL = sister in law, MOH=maid of honor, etc.) But I am still baffled by FH (future husband??) and a few others...

Also, how do you know how many "points" you've accrued?? I am curious. :-)

I'm not sure how to check the points accrued to be honest! I think somebody on here will surely be able to help you with that. :)

Oh, and I figured out how to see how many reputation points you have. If you go to UserCP and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see who has given you rep and in the top righthand corner of that box it says how many points you have.
