I have been given the task of re-vamping the wording on our website at work with certain key words that will come up in searches.
So my question is, if you guys (ladies) were looking up things to do in a state you have never been to, what key words or phrases would you look up?

You mean like: restaurants, theaters, parks, winery, and things like that. As if I was on a vacation somewhere new?

I guess words I would type in would be "tourist", "attraction", "things to do"...etc...generically. I guess for your particular thing you're trying to do - I know it has something to do with boats but can't particularly remember what - I would narrow it down more specifically to the body of water name, boating, sightseeing, etc.

Yeah I would look up attractions or things to do there. When we went to Florida this past April I was looking for dog friendly areas; if you all have any local dog parks or dog friendly attractions that might be another thing to add :)

Thanks Ladies!
You guys hit it spot on. I was looking for very generic terms and you answered a lot of my questions.
The problem I am coming up with more than any other, is that people don't think to look for boat tours in the middle of a desert!

you could use "water sports" or "water attractions"

I'd look up things like attractions, hotels, things to do. Maybe you could say it's a "unique" tourist attraction. Or any keyword having to do with water would be good.
