Nope, only when posting on the forums

Nope, only when posting on the forums
Well she is talking about copying an email and putting it in a thread in General Chat.........does that still not count?
Oh and it says up to 5 cents, how does that part work? I mean, is it set for everybody per post, or does each person get handled different?

I dont know if the email thing will count or not. All post are ranked on a value it would give the forums. So if a thread or post is pointless then it probably will not be paid. Scripts do most of it and then humans do the rest at the point of payout.
Its not per user its across the board for all users on the amount of payout per post.

Hello,
I am new, and i kinda feel like the slow kid in the class right now. I was reading the above emails, and it sounds to me like you get paid when you post in a forum. So for example, does this count? Sorry, i feel so lame for asking.

Yes, it will count. Any post you make in the forums will count, as long as it falls in the criteria.

Also has to be 10 charecters long you can read the rules on posting and you will get the general idea of how it works. Also you will need to set up a paypal acct. welcome to onewed and congrats on your upcoming wedding. And remember no question you ask is lame or stupid you will never know unless you ask..

Ok I'm competly lost with this whole pay pal and posting thing... I just ordered something off e-bay with my posting and it came out of my bank acct. instead of my paypal account. Is there something I have to do with my posting $ once it gets into my paypal account so it will take that $ first before my bank account money??? thanks

It doesn't have anything to do with your $$$ deposited from OW but you might check your PP preferences, to see how it is set up to draw funds.
Note: PP will charge you .50 cents to deposit funds from your paypal account into your bank account but if you have a balance of $150.00 the transfer is free.

I do believe you have to have a paypal account. It will automatically get deposited monthly into your account. You don't have to do anything..

I think it is done by your email so make sure when you make your paypal account it is the same as your onewed email.

No paypal is free so you don't need a credit card just a bank account so you can transfer the funds into it. But you will need over $10 in your paypal account before you can transfer the funds into your bank account.
Here is the link for paypal it should explain it better in there.

I would assume so. We just got a payout the beginning of the month, so there will not be another one until the first part of Feb.

I'm feeling a little crushed now. I just stumbled across this forum...it's kind of weird posting stuff now knowing there is an incentive for replies. Hey now, I'm not saying the responses are not genuine or that there is no real, heart felt advice...but I can't help but feel a little bit like a sucker. I was thinking...geez..these people reply pretty fast!
It's alright though. It'd be the same thing to say a therapist doesn't really care about their patient's outcome, and only does it for the money. I'm just weird, I guess.

While I am sure there are a few that come here and try to use/abuse the board for the pay out (and these people will be 'found out' and removed from the board) I don't see that in the majority of the members here.
Besides, it is not like the payout it that much! It is only up to .05 cents per post and even in that, not all posts will qualify for payout anyway. It would be pretty lame and take way to much time to focus ones time here solely for the money.
Some of us here (myself included) are just addicted to this board and have no life :bblol:

For myself...I was on here posting like crazy before I even did the whole paypal things. I may have done paypal sometime within the last 6 months!! So, do I care about the $$ NOPE...I've made some great friends here and I'm addicted to the forum!! I love that I can ask a question on wedding planning..get a true and get a true and honest opinion. Don't let the pay out make you think anything different about us. Honestly, 99.9% of us would still post here without it!

I also have to agree with Brandi and Jonelle. I don't believe that any of us ladies are on here for the payout. Geez I mean your not going to get rich out of posting on the forums. LOL.... I believe that all the ladies comments are all genuine. I hope you don't feel this way for long.

i think i i got about 2 dollars for each month. so ya there is no getting quick rich for just posting. alot of people are here just for the information and the enjoyment of others. hope this helps with your feeling of being "scammed"
I have found these ladies to be the most helpful, sweet people anywhere. They have wonderful advice and can be counted on to answer even "silly" questions. I sure am not getting rich by posting...so I guess I'm here for the friendly advice.

I didn't really feel "scammed". I just wrote I felt a bit like a succer. But I don't. I know that the whopping $2 per month isn't what is behind the advice, stories and humor. Thanks to all for your input.
