Well I just passed my third gall stone in three weeks. I went to the ER, they said my bloodwork looked normal, meaning I don't have pancreatitis. I just want my gall bladder out so the pain will stop! I have a consult with the surgeon scheduled for Tuesday.

I'm sorry you are in pain. I've recently had some suspected gall bladder trouble and I know what I had was very painful. I hope you are able to get some relief soon.

My mother and my sister both had their gall bladder removed.

All the best to you :flower:

Oh man, I had gallstones. It only took two episodes passing a stone before I decided to get it taken out! Passing gallstones is so painful - I can remember my grandma (who had had stones) told me that for her, it was worse than childbirth. All I can remember is waking up in the middle of the night with this terrible pain all the way around my body such that I couldn't tell if it was my stomach or back, and eventually collapsing in the hallway, in the fetal position, balling like a baby.

Try to stay away from greasy foods until you get it taken care of - grease and other fat is what causes you to pass stones (because your bile is needed, and it carries a stone out with it).
