Breaking out after going off the pill?

As most of you know I went off of the pill when I finished my last pack. It has been a week now. Since then I've started to break out! I've never been a person to break out. All through my teen years I was lucky, and the biggest skin problem was a zit here and there and far between. Well this last week I've gotten a few small zits all of the sudden. Not really the white head kind, though. They are mostly under the skin and aren't red really, but still odd. It isn't a lot by any means, but it is noticeable to me (but DH didn't even notice even when I asked him he was still like huh, what zits? haha).

Did any of you ladies break out at all when you first went off of the pill? I wonder if it has anything to do with my hormones adjusting. I do feel better in general though. Not that I felt bad while on the pill but I do feel like I have more energy since last weekend.

I did!! It sucks.. People at work probably wonder why I started breaking out all of a sudden. Oh and the worst part is I stopped bc back in September so almost a year ago and I still break out :-(

I also felt like I had more energy when I stopped. DH even said I became more outgoing than I was while on bc. (which was like almost our entire relationship up to that point) so for him it was a big change, and a good one. I am more confident in myself, like at work, around other people, etc than I was before.. Who would have thought a little pill (or lack thereof) could change all of those things..

I've been off the pill for 8 months now and still have the worst skin. I get like 5 new pimples a day, and they are large ones too. Nothing seem to help me. I hope your skin clears up soon!

Sadly, I think that's pretty common. Your hormones are all out of whack...:( Hopefully it'll even itself out soon.

bleh... great. I was hoping I would get responses like, "Nope didn't happen, it isn't related so it should go away soon" Or "Yeah, but only for like 2 weeks" haha

Hopefully since I grew up with skin that didn't give me pimples it will go back to that after my body gets itself back to normal.

MEEEEEEEEEEE!!

I had been on the pill for about 6 years before going off of it 3 months ago. Before going on the pill, I had only ever had a random pimple here and there. Now, my face feels like a mess. It's not that I have gross pimples, but my skin (especially around my hairline, forehead and eyebrows) is very bumpy - like small pimples everywhere. Initially I thought it was the stress of the wedding, but the wedding's over and they're still there. I have a dermatologist appt in a few weeks... Hopefully I can get them to go away!

how long after until u noticed your 'boost'?
I cant wait to get off bc. i dont feel like myself. i used to feel 'sexy' when we went out. i know what u mean about the confidence.

I also had this problem. It was so great when I was on the pill, and then it went back to how it was before I was on it, after I went off it. I actually went on the shot right after the pill and that may have made it even worse.

I am in the same boat as everyone. I have always had slight acne...since I stopped my bc my face always seems to have at least a few spots on it. Before I had my son I was off my pills for over a year and I dont remember it getting any better...:(

Um... I got off the pill in April.. and I'm just now breaking out pretty bad. It's frustrating. I thought I was breaking out a little when I originally got off, and now as of the past week or so, I've been breaking out really bad. UGHHHHH.
