Yesderday had a day off, going to be working out every other day, but still eating well :)
Today did the DVD again phewww its tiring but the hour goes soo quick, and even if I dont lose any weight I still feel absolutely great after Iv done the work out :D after the dvd did 7 minutes on x-trainer... Im not gonna lie, I couldnt quite make 10! sooo tired, Im really feeling the work out in my arms, stomach and legs which is great means its working I guess!! :D
I really should weigh my self or take measurements or something to show progress, im scared lol..!!
Today had for breakfast same as yesterday 3 sesame ricecakes with banana and peanut butter, yummm (I think peanut butter is bad but I lovee it lol and dont put too much on!)
Dinner is a millet recipe my mum gave me salad, and a vegetarian bake thingy..looks lovely.
Im making this low fat dessert for us too:
Strawberry and Apple Crumble
This is a high fibre, healthy recipe, to be served warm with skimmed milk custard or yogurt. It has a low calorie count of 155 per portion. Ingredients (serves 4)
* 450 grams cooking apples
* 150 grams strawberries
* 30 ml low calorie sweetener
* half teaspoon cinnamon
* 2 tbsp orange juice
For the Crumble
* 3 tbsp plain wholemeal flour
* 50 grams porridge oats
* 25 grams low fat spread
Preheat the oven to Gas mark 4 (180 degrees Celsius). Peel, core and slice the apples. Halve the strawberries and toss together with the apples, sweetener, cinnamon and orange juice. Put the ingredients into a 1.2 litre ovenproof dish, or four individual dishes.
Combine the flour and oats in a bowl and mix in the low fat spread with a fork. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the fruit. Bake for 40-45 minutes (or 20-25 minutes for individual dishes) until golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm, with custard or yogurt.
Sounds yummy!! xx

^ made that dessert yesterday was delicious, although I used rasberrys instead of apple as FH doesnt like apple!! and this made it a bit sour! served with low fat custard sweetened it up, mmm..!
Today did my usual workout 60mins aerobics, still enjoying it, feeling the benefits!
Todays breakfast was ryvita crackers with some low fat cottage cheese its really all I had in to put on them! didnt fancy porrige or cerial, and cutting back on the bread!
Dinner was home made wedges with chilli spices on them, mixed leaf salad, and bean burger (without the bun of course!) yummy!
Im trying to sort out my portion control too so our meals have been getting smaller! drinking alot more water also, feeling good though :D xx

My workout seemed easier today, im still working up a sweat so thats a good thing and added some jumps into the routine to make the work out more of a challenge, as soon as it gets too easy I will buy a different workout dvd and do that or maybe both of them, Im not bored of this one at all yet I find it good fun. surprisingly!
Today started with scrambled egg on one slice of wholemeal toast, and dinner we had small peice of quiche and salad with 4 garlic mushrooms in breadcrumbs, I so wanted more but didnt I was full after it anyway, and for my sweet tooth today we have some home made carrot cake another low fat recipe I found on line :) it was so tasty. Iv been snacking on nuts between meals,
Still feeling good each day, have tons more energy and Im excited to lose the weight, I know it will be a slow journey but in 6 months I will be glad of it and ready for my wedding!!!x

Iv been working away for 2 days, I decided to take some brown pasta in a lunchbox with some pesto it was lovely, I was supposed to take some couscous and veg but didnt have time to cook it in the morning I was running so late so was forced to buy some sandwiches the second day I was away, I got the lowest cal ones I could find carrot and hummous ones with some flavoured rice cakes and a yoghurt. Couldnt work out which made me feel rubbish!
Today Im back on form, did my workout this morning, breakfast was a couple of rice cakes and an apple... plenty of water!
dinner we had Quinoa, I havent ever had it before just found it in a health store its an alternative to rice/pasta, it was lovely! we had it with a low fat curry sauce and some courgette, red peppers, mushrooms. very yummy!
got some celery and hoummus if I feel peckish and some yoghurt..
FH has bought come the loveliest carrot cake iv ever seen, but I packed him off to work with it to avoid temptation!!! :D xxxx

still eating healthy, havent had time to update everyday, iv cut out bread more or less completely, I do have the odd bread/roll but not if I can avoid it,
iv replaced bread with rice cakes and I only eat them for lunch or breakfast,
We had tofu today with couscous and a tomato with a stir fry veg,. We tend not to have meat in the house now I was bought up a vegetarian and was that way til 16 ish until 18 when I changed my mind and went veggie again, then when I met FH about 2 years back I ate meat as we went through a bad financialy and had to survive on whatever we could unfortunately! So now we are back on track and we eat alot of tofu/soya meat free products. most are only 2 or 3 % fat too so, win win!! i really like being a veggie, I have major guilt when I think what the poor animals must go through just to feed me!
I showed my BM some old pics from when I was 19 the other day, she said omg look how thing you were! not nastily, just pointing out the obvious really. I know iv put on a few stone since then unfortunately :( I was doing ballet once a week back then 3 hour lessons keeping me toned and slim, then I gave up and my weight crept up. Iv always had a tummy though, always since I can remember, just a lil one but its always been there! its the place I put on weight..!
FH says he can see a difference in my body already, I cant. Im waiting a few months, I so wished I would have weighed my self to begin with!! My neighbour bought round two lil peices of bday cake, we ate it. well, its not like we eat them everyday!! i tried to resist!!!
Worked it off today though, still working out every other day... I WILL lose this weight for the wedding/honeymoon!!!
Xxx
