Colors on dress

I just want others opinions on this. I'm not too crazy about an all white dress. I found a beautiful one that just had a little bit of color around the top since it is strapless then a line of color going down with a flower design in it. It was not alot. It was just enough to make it stand out. I just don't know how I feel about an all white dress. Has anyone else had a little bit of color in theirs and how did it turn out?

Others here have had purple and red dresses.

I knew I didn't want an all white dress, and I ended up with a champagne dress with gold/bronze sash.

I LOVE color on a wedding dress - it just adds to the uniqueness and beauty of the dress. Any idea what color you have in mind?

One of my friends got married last summer and had a red sash around her dress. It was so pretty!

i would have done it in lilac though instead of red!

Thanks everyone! Your dresses are all so beautiful and I'm glad to know that it's more common than I thought it was going to be. Alfred Angelo seems to be the ones that I really like so far. The one that I liked with the color was also an Alfred Angelo so I have a feeling I'm going to end up getting one of those. I still have plenty of time though. I just like getting other's opinions! Thanks again!

Oh and the color I was thinking of is either purple or light blue then I wanted to have the bridesmaids match whatever the shade is on my dress.

Sounds really pretty! Or you could do a complimentary or different shade like I did with the girls being in fuchsia and my sash in turquoise.

That lilac is a beautiful color. The dress that I found had a little bit darker purple but the bridesmaids dresses that I liked were actually about that lilac color so I could always do that too. Just have their colors be a little lighter than mine. Ahh! There is just so much I can do with it and I have so much time to figure it out. I really shouldn't be worrying about it now but it's so exciting!

I had champagne accents on my dress. I didn't plan to have any color on my dress, but I absolutely loved it. It was really perfect because I had chosen black and champagne for my bridesmaids even before I chose my dress!
