I'm hoping some of you wonderful ladies have some ideas for me.
Lately i've been having alot of stomic pain and really not been feeling well. Last night just before i went to bed it started up again. Pain in my left side, turning stomic, and feeling really nautious.
Mark was thinking i might be developing more of a lactose intollerance. I already can't have cream cheese, whip cream, all the heavy stuff. So maybe now i've having trouble with milk. Not long before we went to bed i did have a glass of milk.
So.... He's thinking i should try not having milk for a while and see what happends. My problem is.... I really need to eat breakfast in the morning. But i'm not sure what i can have that doesn't involve milk and is quick and easy to make. Do you guys have any suggestions for me?!?!?
Thanks in Advance!

Pick up soy milk. It doesn't really sound like lactose intolerance to me. I would talk to your doctor. If it usually happens around the time that you eat, you could be forming an ulcer.

I wondered about that.... i thought i would see what happends by cutting out the milk for a while. See if i was still having pains.
I got my self some specail K bars and lots of fruit to have for breakfast. I'm not s huge fan of toast all the time.
Thank's for yout imput!

I wouldn't wait on seeing your doctor if it is an ulcer! it will only get worse. My Aunt's boyfriend kept putting it off, before they knew it, he was throwing up blood and doubled over in pain. They were in the states at the time (long distance truckers!) and my Aunt was totally freaked out and just drove like a bat out of hell to get him home and to the doctor!! so my advice is, don't wait! Go to the doctor right away. I have never heard of lactose intolerant people having stomach pains and nausea but I only know one person who is lactose intolerant. (It's my Uncle and he just gets the runs if you KWIM?!) So Jenn, go to your doctor ASAP. And good luck!! :)

I am lactose intolerant and it took the doctor's over 5 years to figure out that is what my problem was. In fact my mother is basically who figured it out for me. Each time i would eat or drink milk products I would have severe stomach cramps, bloating which was then followed by excess trips to the bathroom. I started taking "Lactaid" each time i would eat or drink dairy products after figuring this out. they work wonderful for me. you may have to have more than it calls for and adjust according to your needs and what sort of dairy bothers you more. Try this and see if it helps.
