Tiger Lilly Came Home!!!!
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and kind thoughts! Last night I came home really late. I was opening the door and I looked down and there she was! She is okay. She looks pretty thin and her coat isen't as shiney as it usually is. I feed her imediately and she ate all the food. I usually feed them once a day, but I feed her again this morning and she ate it up.
I guess maybe she hid out last week. Today would have been a week since I had last seen her. I am thinking maybe it was a combination of the bad storms and the fireworks last week that scared her. Hopefully she will not leave again. I was thinking of getting my pets microchipped, but I only know of one vet around her that even scans the pets that come in. I will think about it. I am just so thankful she came home.

When Amber's cat came back after a week, it was sort of out of it for a while, but it was ok other than that. That's wonderful news, Kacie!!

I'm so glad Tiger Lilly came home! I wonder where she went?!
My cat Dusty is microchipped. They did it at the SPCA before i even got him. He also has a tag that has a tube with our information if he was to ever get lost. I want to get an engraved tag but i'm going to wait until we are more settled in a house. Dusty has never been outside on his own since he's been living in the apartment.

I'm happy that she made it home. That is the one thing bad about cats, they are a little more adventurous and independent than dogs. If it would make you feel better if she was microchipped, you should look into it. Most shelters and vets do check. Ruffles came to us long before the microchip was a fad but the breeder had Ellie done before we got her.

Glad Tiger Lilly came home safe!
Enzo is microchipped and Roxy will be when she is spayed in a couple of months. It is sort of piece of mind in a way, but I guess it wouldn't do much good unless they were found and brought into a vet or shelter to actually scan them :bbconfused: They need a GPS chip for pets ;)

Thank you everyone! I am thinking about the microchip thing. The only thing is that I know for a fact that most of the vets around here to do not scan them. I worked for a vet in this town that had us developing x-rays in the bathroom with the lights off still. When he scrubbed in for surgeries he would not wear a mask, just gloves. People walked back there during surgeries all the time and he just talked and went on with the surgery. My animals go to a different vet!
