Well I've have terrible issues with doctors in the last 5 years.Ever since I moved to Dayton I can never get them to run any tests on me at all. I call and go in for a checkup they never end up doing anything. I'm pretty healthy, never stayed over night in a hospital, never had surgery, etc. I did break my hand punching the trunk of my car but that's a totally different issue, lol.

Anyway, I never had the guts to find a different doctor. The new doctor would have no history and every time I thought about it, I could never find anyone I liked or I would remember too late. Well the last time I was at the doctor, I was done with her. She could not tell me any info about Birth Control and told me to do the research on what I liked. She went to the internet to find info about Yaz to give to me! I had gone thru 3 doctors in 4 years at that place. I was so done with them and I think I'm going to get my records shipped to my new doc.

So I went to my new doc today. She was recommended to me a while ago and since we finally got our ins switched over to PT, I was ready. I told her most of the problems I was having and she gave me resolutions right away! I have a cyst on my leg that has really been bothering me, she is having a specialists office call me ASAP to set up an appt to remove. Also I've gained 70 lbs in 3 years and my mother's family has a history of thyroid issues. She looked at my thyroid and said it was enlarged, so I'm getting into that specialist ASAP too. Then I am going back next week to her to get alllll my blood work done. Diabetes, liver, cholesterol, etc. I'm 28 and never had that stuff checked. Ever. I've been trying since Aug 2004!

So wish me luck, I really hope everything works out alright. http://www.r6central.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks girls! I'm pretty excited to have a resolution to my problems. Even if there isn't anything that wrong, at least I will definitely know. Too bad we signed up for the high-deductible insurance this year!

And that will be a good feeling! It's funny, when you posted this I was looking on yelp (of all places) at reviews of doctors. hahahaha :)
