concert tonight

Well I am off to get ready for the concert tonight.

For those of you who dont know we got tickets to go see Montgomery Gentry as a wedding gift. Jodi Mesena (sp?) is there also. Should be an awsome concert. And we also got tickets to the Center Stage Buffett before the concert.

Well parking opens at 5 and we can get in to eat by 5:30 so as soon as Nicholas gets home he has to get showerd and changed. He is out at 4 today. So I have to take this hour to get ready so as not to be in his way so we are not late.

We have awsome seats. We are in section C row 12. Not sure the seat numbers but who cares. Row 12 is awsome.

The concert is at an outside venue in the next town over. Here is the site.

I can not wait to get there. A girl at work said she saw their busses comming off the interstate last night. I will let ya all know how it went.

Well I am back and let me tell ya I HAD A BLAST!!!!! We had the tickets for the buffett before the show so we got in a 1/2 hour before every one else. And there was not alot of people at the buffett. Maybe 50 if that. And we got to use that building for the restrooms and the bar during intermissoin.

Jo dee Maseina was first and she played for about an hour. She was so good. She sings alot of songs tha tIlvoe but I just didnt know it was her that sang them. She sang some of her new stuff and I loved it.

Then Montgomery Gentry came on for about an hour and a half. THEY WERE AWSOME!!!!!! They sang all there great songs that made me like them in the first place. And some of their new stuff too and they were good.

We waited in the car for about 30 mins. to let most of the traffic out. It was fine. We got to sit and talk and listened to the radio and I was singing my head off. Not that I didnt just do that for 3 hours lol. I thik I got a little horsed but what the h*ll I had a blast.

There were 2 girls next to us that were having alot of fun. The peopl behind them tried to make them sit. One of them said no way I paid for my ticket and I am gonna have a good time.

All and all we had an awsome time. Our first date since we have been married. And it was so great. The best wedding present we got.

We wish we had the money to go to more of these concerts. We are going to start a fund of savings just for concerts so we can go to a couple of these next year. I would love to see Martina McBride. She is playig on the 29th. But if I am paying for tickets I am not going to sit onthe lawn and not be able to see any thing. We had great seats.

OK if you reading your most likely tired of me rambling lol. So I am going to go and get dressed for bed and watch a movie in bed with my HUSBAND ( I love calling him that :P ). Have a good night ( or a good day if your reading this tomorrow morning).
