OMG! Exactly one week! I remember when you were where I'm at now. You must be beside yourself with excitement! :D

Other than my rant (over in the rant section), everything is going well and on schedule. I am starting to notice little things that start to add up though! I realized I don't have a flower girl basket! (my flower girl is like 8 so I keep forgetting that she is a flower girl and not a second jr. bridesmaid).

My dad has bought TONS of candy for the reception candy bar :)

I went to my cousin Jennifer's wedding today. It was different. It was a catholic wedding, and just much different than what mine will be like. Not a bad thing just different. I am a very religious person for goodness sakes I am majoring in children's ministry, but they didn't do anything but have readings! I dk if it is like that at all Catholic weddings or not but mine won't be quite like that. Mines more intimate and our minister won't be singing everything he says like the priest did today...

7 days from right now I will be a Mrs.!!!!!!!

Ahhh I can't believe how close I am either!!! I haven't even felt anxious until yesterday when I saw my cousin appear behind from the door right before walking down the aisle, for some reason I almost started to cry and I dk why! This whole time I have been like, there is no way I will cry at my wedding, I just don't do that kinda stuff in public. (unfortunatly I tend to not show a lot of public emotion), but yesterday I was like oh no, I'm gonna cry haha

So we are meeting with the cake lady for the last time and also with the DJ tomorrow :)

I have 5 days and I am getting ready to burst!!!

Tomorrow I have my meetings
Wed- is my fun day out with just my MOH and I
Thursday- We get the keys to the reception hall
Friday- Getting my nails done and then all of the bridal party is getting in, and the rehersal and rehersal dinner
Sat- THE WEDDING!!!

So I am excited to say the least!

I forgot one thing! Tomorrow is also my hair trial. But I am starting to get nervous because when I called to confirm my appts for the wedding I asked if we could get in an hour early to ensure that we would all get done. Well they said they couldn't because there is a wedding before ours. Our appts start at 9. They said they will have 3 girls working on hair

I hope they remember that I have 10 people needing their hair to get done, and because I can't get in earlier they have to do it in 2 1/2 hours. Because I would like to leave the hair place around 11:30. We need to be at the church at 12, so no later than 12:45. They also have a wedding hair appt AFTER mine. I reminded them that I have 10 people and they kinda acted surprised. This is the place I have ALWAYS gotten my hair done at. I didn't really think about it much, but then my aunt was saying how worried she was.

Tomorrow at my trial I am going to discuss it with them, and tell them, they HAVE to be able to say with 100% certainty that we will be done on time, or I am going to have to figure something else out. My girls can't have their hair half way done at the wedding.

AND I booked my wedding in AUGUST! I am trying not to freak out yet until I have my appt tomorrow. But if they can't promise me that everyone will be done on time I just don't know what I am going to do! I mean 10 people in 2 1/2 hours for 3 people is a tight fit! It might be impossible! No one is going to have an opening for a wedding with 10 people needing their hair done up this last min...

blah! So I'm praying for the best!

ALSO My aunt who lives in NH who I am pretty close to, well her baby boy got the chicken pox this last week and they aren't scabbed over yet so they won't let him fly. So now she can't come. I am sad, but I feel bad because I guess she just feels awful. My grandma said she was saying she feels so bad because she has always felt close to me and wants to come, but just that it is impossible. I hope to they can get the money back for their plane tickets! She said she bought insurence when she bought them so I hope so!

I think your hair appointments might work out ok. It's like each person will have 3 girls to do (one will have four) in 2 1/2 hours thats almost an hour each. If some girls have simple styles it will def work out. Good luck!!

I've got a really busy day today! Cake lady, DJ and hair trial. non-stop meeting/driving from 10-5 hehe, but it's all fun wedding stuff, and I'm excited about my hair trial, just hoping everything all works out how it is suppose to.

Also for the ceremony the back will all be put up by a hair piece that I have, and then the veil will be in, but after the ceremony I will take the hair piece out and let my hair down like it is in the picture

Me and my FH are the same... and I agree. It is getting harder the closer it is to the wedding! But after all this wait, the wedding night... the very first time!!! Totally worth it!! I am doing the same, white and then either fire red or black on the second night. I always though black was really sexy. And since I'm a red head, I've never really worn red. You look beautiful!!! Ahhh two days!!!

My day yesterday was amazing! I ended up getting a white outfit for the wedding night and a red one for the second, like I wanted.

I also got our toasting classes, just the ones I wanted too! Also a flowergirl basket. I also bought Matthew some clothes to wear during the honeymoon. hehe I couldn't resist and I got myself 3 shirts, BUT they were on sale! I got a tank top for 6, a long sleeve jacket for 8 (originally like 30 something) from Kohls, and a shirt from Aeropostle for 2.99. I like clothes ;)

So we decorate today! We already got the keys last night, and on the way home my MOH and I stopped by the place and helped my dad set up tables and chairs where they should be. That will help out a lot today! Now we don't have that to deal with.

I get my nails and toes done tonight :)

THEN everyone starts getting here tomorrow, then I get married!!

Today is quite possible the worst day of my life...

Matthew lost his passport.

In short that means no honeymoon in Mexico. Which means we are out $2,200 and have no where to go. Needless to say I'm really ticked and emotionally drained right now to the point where I almost don't even care about tomorrow. Please pray that somehow it shows up. They have serached his house for HOURS now and have moved ALL of the furnature and everything. He thinks he accidentally threw it away when he cleaned out his truck tuesday. The trash went out Wed. please just pray he finds it. That somehow it just appears. If not I don't even know what is going to happen... Kind of a mood ruiner, and kind of is ruining my mood about the wedding. I'm not really even excited anymore. I dk why stuff like this happens to us. I'm trying really hard to not be really mad at Matt, because I guess it could have been me, I'm trying to not be mad at myself for not holding on to his for him.

His parents are offering to pay for airfare to anywhere in the country we want to go. But TOMORROW is our wedding and there is a lot more money that would have to be involved than just airfare... plus I freaking want to go to Mexico. Unless he finds his stupid passport my honeymoon is ruined and I really don't know how to not let it ruin my wedding.

Our only hope is if our travel agent can get our check in day switched to like tuesday and we could go stand in line at the Chicago passport place and hope that it would be our turn in line before they close on Monday.

PLEASE just pray that they find it.

oh i wish i knew what to say to make it better for you. but please try not to let this ruin your wedding day. i am sure he feels horrible about it and is dissappointed as well. i don't know anything about passports unfortunatly but would it be possible to have a lawyer or someone draw up some kind of papers saying he is who he is and what happened? i don't know i am just grasping at straws here for you. maybe you could take a shorter less expensive honeymoon for now and plan this one again later on. i would take up the offer to fly me anywhere right now. that was sweet of them to offer as well. i am praying you can come up with the passport or some alternative.

No sadly we didn't have insurance on it, and we had to save quite a bit for the trip and it drained our savings account so that we could go.

I'm praying that it didn't get thrown away. All of Matt's groomsman said they would stay up all night looking for it at Matt's house tomorrow.

It sucks because we saved for that and last summer matt used all of his money from work to pay for my ring and the trip. We are REALLY looking forward to it, and need the break so bad.

So just today, my flowergirl has the flu, I can't get in the church to decorate until 2, and everyone is getting to my house at 2:30, and then this...

If not, don't let it ruin your day tomorrow! This is the day that you've been planning forever. You can always go somewhere, but you won't always get married. Just stay positive, I'm sure he feels bad enough for losing it. Sometimes when Chris loses things, he gets really mad and I might say something that I probably shouldn't have, and it always makes him feel worse, that in turn makes me feel bad for saying it.

yeah, he looked in the lock box, and in the glove box, they have turned the place upside down. I wouldn't get upset with you :P suggestions are always helpful.
