I dont know if I posted this in the right place, so feel free to move it to the correct location if you want:)
I am in need of a new camera! I already have one that is nice, it is an Olympus all weather 7.1 megapixel digital camera. But I want something nicer!
BUT I have no idea what to get! I see all these pics on here that are so clear and my camera doesnt do that! I have always wanted a nice camera but just dont know what kind to get! I love to take tons of pics but not professionally or anything.
So....if anyone has a camera that they are absolutely in love with let me know!! Or just point me in the right direction to a good camera!!:)

I have 2 cameras, at point and shoot it's a Sony cybershot high zoom. I absolutely love it, it produces great picture with little effort. It runs between $279 and $449 new. I also have an Olympus Evolt e-510 Dslr, it's more advance and takes more effort and skill to get a good picture but that's just the nature of Dslr. I would recommend either they are great.

We have a Nikon d40. It is a base level DSLR. I LOVE it.
Here are a few pictures I took with it when we first got it and I was testing it out.

I'm still working on learning about all things photography though - so hopefully I will eventually have some better pictures!

This is the camera I have. I got the 12.2 40d megapixel and love it. It is pretty spendy though.

i have a cannon power shot sd 1000... it's a good camera and typically i just turn it on n snap photos... a lot of settings to play with but i typically don't touch them. i have a photographer friend that will adjust it when we're taking pics n get some awesome results...
at one point i thought it was messed up n was taking horrible pics but just had to clean the lens LOL (we were in mexico it was humid n it got a bit dusty...)

I have the Canon Rebel XTi 10 MP - and LOVE IT!
The kit lens is decent, but you can get a great lens for portrait shots for like $75

I figure we won't get it... but I just added the Sony Cybershot to our registry. I want a camera that's much better than the one we have (not hard to do since the one we have takes 10 seconds or more to actually take the picture), but I don't want one that's extremely expensive... I don't really need something overly fancy. But the Cybershot sounds very nice. And there's always the registry discount... We shall see, we shall see.

Good cameras are good instrument to capture sweet moments of partners. I'd love to have a good camera too. Then capture a photo of my love one!
