I just found out the job I interviewed for yesterday has been narrowed down to three people and I am one of the three. YIPPEE!!!!!! But here is what I need help with. The main person doing the hiring was not in yesterday when I was interviewed. He did however interview the other two persons. He is out of town till tuesday and they are deciding who out of the three of us on tuesday afternoon. I was interviewed by the other two persons with input into the hiring. I personally called the woman interviewer a little bit ago to thank her for such a relaxing short notice interview. Thanked her for taking the time. But I wonder since the main man has not even seen me if i might would be better off to somehow contact him or send something to the company for attention. To let him know I am very interested in this job. Does anyone have any bright ideas or if I should do anything at all? Let me know.

Me personally, while the persistance is a good thing, you dont want to be too persisitant. I would wait until he is back in town (if I have that right) and then contact him.

I agree. You want to be assertive, but not pushy. It's a fine line, but I would wait too.

I'm sorry maybe i was confusing. I do not mean to try and contact him today or anything. He is out of town and I wouldn't even know how. I mean would it be appropriate to contact him on tuesday morning when he is back or send a letter or something?

Def on Tues. I would call and ask to speak w him. If you are able to talk to him, let him know that you are the one who interviewed when he was out, and that you are very interested in the position. See where it goes from there.

About mid morning, I would be IN the office. You wouldnt want to pounce on him just getting back in, but give him time to hear good things about you and read your resume.

Oh, absolutely, whole different answer then. You definitely want to be on his radar. You can introduce yourself to him on Tuesday morning, and tell him how sorry you were not to have been able to meet with him on Thursday, and how grateful you are to have been given the opportunity to interview for his fabulous company. You know, just basically ******** your way into his good graces. lol

It would deff. be a nice touch just so that he feels like he knows you a little if you got in contact with him
