I am a huge Nine Days fan, and I used to be obsessed with posting on their message board (since 2002). As the members of the board got older and busier, the number of posts decreased, but no one was really less of a fan. Anyway, I noticed that no one had posted since December, and I couldn't figure out why. There were usually at least a few new posts per month.

Well... I went to post about my wedding first dance song... and I found out why no one has posted. When I hit post, it automatically goes right back to the create a post page as though I never hit post.

Grrr. It's like a piece of my younger self is gone. Sadness. I'm debating if I should try to contact the band on their myspace (they're pretty personable and would probably read it). I dunno...

Maybe the site is shut down. This happened to the original AC/DC Site i met DH on. One day it was up and running with hundreds of people. Next day, all the posts had gone and everyone was sent on a loop.
Hence the new site now up and running by a friend in Australia. Numbers have started coming back and names long forgotten have turned up to post.

Contact the band. I got the chance to thank AC/DC personally for their website. Without it i wouldn't have met DH.

Is it run by their record company? Have they changed labels? This is what happened to AC/DC. They left the label, so all association with them was severed.
Is it run by a fan? Maybe something has happened to them and it's not being updated. Therefore it will crash and burn eventually.

I'm sorry that the site is messed up. I hope you can contact the band and get it taken care of.

Hehe, :). Hopefully I will be able to get ahold of them. Only thing is.. it's been 6 months, so I'm sure they know about it, so maybe they don't care or can't fix it.

Awe, I would be so sad! Makes me think of how sad I would be if I came online and suddenly this place and all of your were gone. I hope you can get to the bottom of this and figure out what's going on!

I asked someone from the board who is friends with the band, and he said the board reset and none of the band members knows the password. Sadness.

They can contact the web host of the board and get the password... it just takes some initiative. Don't give up! Get them on it! I'm sure you're not the only one that's disappointed.
