for like regional areas! that way, it'd be much easier to figure who's where and getting married where, than having to guess, plus for some brides, it'd be really neat to actually meet other ladies who are having the same issues, or for some of us who just need ladies nights or have shoipping to do that no one else wants to help with ;)
what do ya'll think? i used to be on cinchouse(a military wives/women's website), and there were location forums...made getting together and meeting like-minded women ALOT easier, and was fun to do! for those of us lonely brides, we'll have our own stinkin bachelorette parties and bridal showers ;) heeheehee

No. I'll be lonely.
Oh hang on, Pinkbride is in the UK too. :winktongue:
I think a majority of people have their Locations in their Avatars. Because i sit here and wonder what all the initials mean.

lol mitch, it took me a second to figure out why you said "no" lol.....
well yea i know all our avvies say our place(if we choose for it too)...but i mean, i think it'd be nice to actually MEET other ladies, who are going through the same stuff lol....i have *2* friends in houston! my BFF is in illinois, and it really sucks! and the friend here who is getting married, has extenuating circumstances, where oftentimes if she doesnt need to do something, she won't go anywhere.....so yeah lol

I see what you're saying about meeting people... But I think that the regional forums would make it too cluttered without enough people in it. For instance, if we did an Upstate/Western New York subforum, I can think of three people and one honorary former resident that it would fit in. I've been PMed by the fabulous ladies from my area about sales and stuff, because they saw where I was from, I think that might be a better medium than having a subforum that needs moderation and stuff.

Yeah, we considered regional forums a while back, but since we are a national board we figured it would be better to keep the community more open.
People can still start threads about their area if they want and some have before ;) So you can still look for local people or local ideas, there is just no spesific forum for it.
Now if you are looking for local vendors, the main site has a local search feature ;)
http://www.onewed.com/vendor/search Or you can pick your area from a list at the bottom of the main page - http://www.onewed.com :)
