Well this week has been HELL and I hope to heaven's it gets better... I'm venting please bare with me!
1. Wednesday afternoon I tried to pull my truck onto the carport to unload some boxes and wacked the big white support post with my pretty shiny black truck...passenger side truck bed trim is gone for about 2 feet and white paint is now all over it not to mention two dents. I CRIED FOR AN HOUR
2. My sisters daughter (program attendant) was coming, wasn't coming and now is coming again to the wedding...I lost it and told her to grow the hell up and try and think of someone else for once besides herself...so I INSTANTLY put my wedding cake, grooms cake, favors and other desserts, a MOH (my sister) and a bridesmaid (the other daughter, my niece) in JEAPORDY! If they all 3 get pissed they may not show...hello sheet cake and 4 on my side compared to 6 on Eric's side at the wedding! CRIED FOR ANOTHER HOUR
3. I went to get my trial up-do done yesterday and the stylist was having man problems and couldn't do sh*t with my hair becasue she was too **** worried about her man who is cheating on her and all that drama, she was so bad (and this girl always does my hair) that she was pulling my hair in frustration while talking to someone on her cell phone about him. She then proceeded to tell me my hair wasn't long enough for an up-do BULLSH*T, and that I needed to wear it 1/2 up and no veil (OMG NO!)...so I politely got up and left (NEVER TO RETURN). HELLO, CRIED AGAIN!
4. I have a kidney infection (hurts like hell when I pee), a blister on my tongue (from stress) and a headache from CRYING!
5. I am MOVING this weekend and really don't think if ONE more person gets in my face and starts being a pain in the arse I will be able to contain myself!

1. The truck is fixable, no worries there.
2. Your sister is still your sister and will be at your wedding. If not, uneven sides never killed anyone and I have had many a tasty sheet cakes in my life.
3. Hairstylists are a dime a dozen. Just go to gay bar and start crying in your fruity drink with paper umbrella. They will be pouring out of the woodwork.
4. I can't help with the blister or the headache, but on an up note, beer will help clean up your kidney infection if you haven't already started antibiotics.
5. Moving sucks, I'm sorry.

1. You sound just like Eric
2. You sound just like Eric
3. That's EXACTLY what Eric told me...well sorta, he said go back to the Day Spa where I had my massage and get that Antonio Banderas looking gay dood to do my hair...
4. I'm at work I have cranberry tablets and Uristat (to stop the urgency to pee and pain) If I started drinking beer right now I'd never get to #5!
P.S. I laughed so hard it caused me to "pee a little" (Stewart...SNL), thanks Lacey...I knew you'd make me smile!

I'm sorry things have been so crummy for you in the past week. No fun! The truck is definatly fixable. I know if i had done the same thing to m shiney black car i would have cried for an hour too. Then cried everytime i saw it until i got it fixed.
Talk to your sister. Smooth things over. I'm sure she will understand how stressed out you are over the wedding and everything. It will be fine. And if you have to get a sheet cake. Oh well.... It will really good too!
As for moving. I totally feel your pain. I have to pack today and tommorrow because we are moving at the end of the month and it's totally crazy. I hate moving. There is so much stress involved. Just keep reminding yourself that it is totally worth it and think about how great your new home will be.
Take care hun! Get yourself a milkshake today! A special treat for all your hard work! :D

Hmm a milkshake...Yep Marble Slab here I come (at lunch)!
I am excited about our "new to us" home...Eric and I painted the master bedroom in "Nutmeg Brown" and with my new drapes and the cherry bedroom suite it is going to look DREAMY! I also like the fact that it is an old (1886) style farm house (remodeled) and has a tin roof on it that just sets it off! I feel like Ja Ja Gabor in Green Acres!
Thanks! I'm trying to get both legs into my big girl panties and start acting like an adult and not a temper tantrum prone 2 yr old.

Welcome to the "less than a month till the wedding" meltdown. Isnt it the greatest? It was rough on me too. I wish I could say things will get better soon but you will have about 3 more weeks of wearing your emotions on your sleeve! Hang in there though.....we got your back!!!!

When I saw the title of your thread, I couldn't help breaking out in song, from the television show, "Hee Haw." "Gloom despair and agony on me, deep dark depression, excessive misery, if I had no bad luck I'd have no luck at all, gloom despair and agony on me." I'm probably the only one who remembers that skit. Ellen, I'm so sorry about your truck, but that's what we have insurance for. :) I know you'll work it out with your family, because they seem to be good people and, in a crunch, they will come through for you. Kick the hairdresser to the curb, and get one that is more concerned about your needs than their own. I had a kidney infection too, and they are so painful. If it doesn't clear up soon, I would go see a Dr. and get the good drugs for it. I hate moving more than anything else I think. I feel for you. Hang in there, Ellen, it will get better! :D

Nope! Eric and I actually ordered that Hee Haw Timelife Collection on DVD! We both grew up watching it with our folks!
Grandpa Jones, Minnie Pearl, the corn field jokes and that skit with all them barefoot hillbillies in overalls sipping on corn whiskey and laying with their dawgs is EXACTLY what I was referring to!

**** Ellen!! When it rains it pours!! How the world works is beyond me this week. (And now my stupid keyboard is on the fritz and it takes me five minute longer to type a **** response. BAH!! Anyhow back to you and your more important worries!)
I'm sorry to hear about your truck. Matt dropped a ladder on the front portion of the side panel and dented my truck. I wanted to cry too, but I had to laugh because of the way it happened. We won't fix it because we're selling it and getting the same amount as before, when it wasn't dented...lol. But it's exactly like Eric said, it's fixable and it's better to have done that then rolled your truck or something worse. It's something you can look back at and laugh!! :) And some day, you will laugh about it. Here's another little story, back when my parent's first got married, they had a manual trans. truck. Mom went out to start it in the winter and didn't push the e-brake down all the way, well the truck rolled out of the driveway the minute mom went back inside. It rolled across the street and smashed into the neighbors car!! Mom cried and cried. But now, ask her about it and she laughs!! It'll be something you laugh about eventually.
Your family will come around and if any of them have planned a wedding they will probably understand how stressful this time can be! If not, saying your sorry and stressed will help in this situation. (And hey if you need BMs, I'll be there if I can get my chit sorted!! Hell I woudl drop everything!! :))
I agree on finding a new hair dresser! You were lucky she wasn't holding a curling iron. SHe may have held it to your scalp if she got angry. I'd call and talk to the manager and have her fired to be honest, because no matter what the hell is going on in your private life, you don't bring it to work!! In her case, if she was so distraught she should have taken some time off!!!
I'm sorry to hear that you are suffering with so much! I think you should see a doctor about the kidneys!! That is not something to mess with! I had the same problem, I almost had to be hospitalized!! I was peeing blood!! (Sorry if TMI) It started out as what I thought was a bladder infection and within 20 minutes I was peeing blood and doubled over thinking I was going to die. Just please see a doctor if you haven't already!! I wouldn't want you to get any worse and possibly need hospilization at this point before the wedding!! :)
Moving is the worst! Call all your friends and tell them free beer and pizza if they help you move!! Good luck and take it easy Ellen!!! :)

I kinda caught this at the arse end of your day sweetie, but I just wanted to say that I am sorry that youa re having such a crappy week. I guess the best way to look at it is that it can't get much worse, and if it does you would probably go insane and black it out anyways!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and you know that we all love you and will do our best to keep you grounded and sane when you are with us. I am sure verything will work out fine with you sister, your truck, your hair, and your kidney infection..and moving just sucks no matter how ya look at it. The positive is that you will move this weekend and then Monday is the weekly Onewed's Anonymous traveling meetings and we will all be at your door around 10:00 am...lol!!!
