My father was diagnosed with cancer (multiple myeloma) 3 weeks ago. My wedding is in Ohio May 13th. My dad is currently going through radiation treatments and he is very weak and tired. The cancer that he has starts in the white plasma blood cells and rests on the bone making the bones weak. Well the other day all my dad did was turn his head and he fractured his neck. We keep finding more and more tumors. After a few more weeks of radiation the doctor wants to start chemo which the nurse told my mother would begin right away. My mom, fiance and I have been talking and we think it would be best to move the wedding to Indiana so that my dad will not have to travel so far. He could continue his treatments through the week of the wedding and possibly be well enough to walk me down the aisle. I have thought of moving the date to be right after he ends radiation and right before he starts chemo, I have thought about keeping the original date, just moving the wedding to Indiana. I will know more after a doctors appointment with the oncologist on Tuesday. Anyway, here is where I need some help. I need some vendor recommendations for the Peru area. If anyone is familiar with the area and has recommendations for any vendors please let me know. Thanks so much.
