I thought this was really neat. LOL Also makes me HATE living in MA I could live on half my salary in most other places :irked:

Interesting; though Florida (only other state I have ever thought of living) seems to have a higher cost of living than Georgia.

This is really cool!

I compared my salary in Buffalo to what it would be in Manhattan... and I'd have to earn twice as much to make it. Actually, that's pretty much the result in most places, I haven't found a place yet that has a lower cost of living save Syracuse in the North.... Lousiana apparently is pretty cheap!

Haha, I compared mine with NYC (Manhattan) and it says housing would cost 505% more...which would be about 3 months income for me! Guess there are some perks to living in the middle of cornfields.

That's hilarious. 505%! Not surprising that it's expensive, but 505%!?!? :winktongue:

I compared LA and Vegas. It confirmed what I already knew. Just depressing how much it costs to live here.

Dang! Where I want to live groceries and health care would be 14% more but I would only make $1000 more a year! Ouch!

This is pretty neat.... I am happy where we are at, but it was neat to see what the cost of living is everywhere else.
