I just got our wedding DVD from my MIL. Nicholas is working but the kids and I and my brother watched it. ALL of it. They recorded everything. From before the wedding ( Nicholas at the hotel getting ready ) to all the songs played at the receptioin with people just dancing and talking. It cut off with only about 2 or 3 songs left at the reception.

It was so nice to see it all and see what I didnt get to see as I was the last person in both for the ceremony and the reception. I can't wait to sit and watch it with Nicholas.

I got to see where Nicholas almost lost his pants. And every one loved it. He will never live that one down in his family lol.

Now I am just waiting for my pictures. I am hoping tomorrow as she said this week.

OH and the cover of the DVD case had a picture of Nicholas and I with our kids and about th epicture it says Nick and Gwen's Wedding and on the back is a picture of Nicholas holding my dress as we walk home from the bar ( as he is in his jeans ) and under that picture it has the date June 10, 2006.

Awww...that sounds nice. I told Joe that I want someone to at least tape the ceremony, our first dance together and the cake cutting.

Thanks all. AngelinLove we didnt have a videographer either. Nicholas' mom did the recording. There are some places where you can hear what is going on but dont see it lol. But over all it has the important parts and it has the WHOLE thing. I love it and am waiting for Nicholas to come home so we can watch it together.

There were a few people who recorded our wedding and do you know not a one offered to make a copy of it for us! BAH! What nice people eh!? OH well. Guess I might have to talk to the best man's mom and see what I can find!! She would have the best as we passed them on the high way going to the reception and we were hanging out the windows like buttheads!! lol. Glad you have something to remember your wedding so specifically with!! YAY!! :)

Gwen that is so cool! Sounds really wonderful!
One of our groomsmen is a videographer so he borrowed a camera from work and set it up to film the ceramony. He also filmed different parts of the reception and came to see the girls getting their hair done etc. He's working on editing it all right now. Hopefully we will see it soon.

My husbands brother filmed our wedding as well. We both loved watching it. It means a lot to me like you said we get to see more that way. I would have missed so many important and let's face it, funny things that happened if not for the video of it. Treasure it always and keep it safe. We placed it in our lock box here at home.

I think that is so cool to be able to relive your wedding after it is all over with. With how much work that goes into planning a wedding, not to mention the cost, it would be so nice to have it documented on film.

That's great Gwen! I'm sure watching the whole thing you learned a lot of what you missed! We are having my brother and my uncle tape it. My brother has taped a couple weddings before. He does some really funny stuff, so I can't wait to see what he gets. Then my mom is going combine the two videos to one.
