I have a hairstyle question. I would like to put a flower in my hair for my wedding and am not sure if a real or silk flower would be better. Do the real flowers start wilting and look bad? Do the silk flowers look fake and silly? Would appreciate anyone's input.

Thanks!

I think it's a little bit of both. But, if it was real, you would smell awesome. But it will wilt after a while. Good luck!!

Silk would probably be the way to go, so you don't look wilted at the end of the day. I've seen fantastic silks - they look so real.

I would say a nice silf flower would look the best longer, but if you got a really good quality and really fresh real flower that it should last most of the day, but (depending on the size of the flower) it may start to feel heavy later in the day.

As for the type of flower, you could use roses, lillies, daisies, pretty much any flower should work.

Good luck and welcome to the board :D

p.s. my dog's name is Roxy ;)

For your hair I think silk would be best. I would stick with the type of flower that you will be using in your bouquet.

Check online and at local bridal stores. They have all kinds of flower hair clips that are fun. Some even have crystals, rhinestones, feathers, ect attached. You should be able to find something.
